Saw these guys in Santa Monica at the old 14 Below club. I believe it was around the time of the first EP release (2005). Lo and behold, Melanie Griffith walks in - with a teen girl. Who was the teen? Had to be Dakota Johnson! She would have been 15/16 then. Not exactly sure she was there for the band or just out to see a show. If anyone runs into Dakota, ask her if she was a Monsters are Waiting fan back in the day.

Dude I love this band so much. Binged them so hard during middle and high school. Even if it were short lived, you guys still made up a good chunk of my listening time. Hope you guys are doing well, wherever you guys are now ❤️

2021 and I'm still here. I still tell everyone to listen to this album. Went to every LA show. That time in my life was so e of the best. So glad my uncle introduced me to MAW when I was a teenager. Thank You. Music still hits!
