Thanks, enjoyed flying with you. I also fly with Tennessee Turkey Vultures. I fly remote control airplanes. Sometimes I fly a rc glider. If I find a good updraft and begin to circle then sometimes nearby Turkey Vultures will come and join me. Or if I see them first then I will go and join them. I am careful not to spook them and join the group a little lower or higher than the nearest bird to me. They are smart. If I'm using my motor to circle and try to find an updraft they will come over to me but if they do not detect an updraft then they leave - even if I'm gaining altitude (but I'm using my motor.) It is so much fun to fly with them. They usually circle in the same direction and each one takes a different altitude so they don't have a mid-air.

@ yes indeed . I was looking at your location and I’m fairly certain I could make it. It would probably take between an hour and a half or 2 but with a full tank I have around 3 hours flight time lol.

The Moby soundtrack was smooth! I hunted solo this year unit 13 and 20c, took 3 weeks off and came up empty...even in an any bull area. Than a guy I work with shot a beautiful bull off the edge of the airport in Soldotna and he's not even a hunter!!!🫤 I feel defeated as the moose season comes to a close. But i had a good time, even in the 40 degree temps and rain.

Can someone please explain this? What are the wings made of? I mean they look like they are made of the same cloth used in umbrella canopy material. You know what happens during a thunderstorm, the umbrealla collapses. So these guys taking this up to 10000 feet etc, how they hell don't they collapse like a umbrellas collapsing in high wind? I mean even the professionally manufactured ones look very flimsy. Please explain this to me, these things are fascinating, its like we found a loop hole to fly like birds (for some reason the commercial aircraft doesn't have the same effect, as a layman) Why aren't many people using this to go to work and come home?

The wings are hang gliders, using Dacron sailcloth or mylar on an aluminum frame. The trike that uses the Mosquito engine (Radne Raket 120) has the UP Wing (UP used to make hang gliders, now they only make paragliders). Look up North Wing hang gliders in Chelan Washington to see examples of the wings. The wings have airspeed ratings, so they are tested to withstand up to a certain air speed. The Vne (velocity - never exceed) for a Wills Wing Falcon 4, for example, is 48 mph. Any higher wind than 48 mph and you risk structural failure. If you fly them to and from work, you're going to need a long enough landing field to take off and land.
