This is trash. It's heritable, expression is modulated by prenatal testosterone, simon baron-cohen explained the sex prevalence years ago. Complete trash

Are the parents of all the newborns in Michigan 14:25 knowingly allowing for the collection of their children's DNA since the newborns certainly can't give informed consent to the use of their most personal data? Sounds like this guy wants to develop genetic therapy rather than understanding and acceptance.

This is SO outdated. Most people know this is NOT true. It is absolutely inherent. Not to mention he uses very negative language. I don’t rate him as an expert at all.

So I guess a dozen years (and counting) after the sequencing of the genome autism COULD BE caused by defects in some complicated and imprecise but oddly specific multiplicity of affected genes? What in the environment could cause such a strikingly similar thing in so many different kids? Who in their right mind believes an astronomical unlikelihood over simple neglect? The way you know sociopathic mothering is responsible is by the absence of even fake concern they could have accidentally caused it. It's quite clear that because of their developmental delay autistics can develop personality disorders in early adulthood. BPD is the obvious sequelae of untreated postpartum psychosis in ASD. Which explains the behavioral heritability within families people who aren't very bright call "genetic"

My husband first experienced confusion and loss of memory in May of 2012 while undergoing rehab for alcoholism. Being home seemed to help him until 2017 when he gradually began experiencing Alzheimer’s symptoms. He had four to five hours a day where he wanted to get a "greyhound" to "go home." Also, he thinks I am his sister and believes he has rented a car (he hasn't driven in 5 years). His personal hygiene was in the tank, it was necessary for him to change two to three times a day. Without long-term insurance for his care, it was becoming stressful to care for him. This year our family friend "Ken" introduced and started him on BRONGEE HERBAL SUPPLEMENTS for Alzheimers and Dementia, 2 months into treatment he improved dramatically. At the end of the full treatment course, the disease is totally gone. No case of Alzheimer’s, hallucination, forgetfulness, and others, he’s strong again and able to go about daily activities. Contact Dr. Rohan today to Get yours via dr.rohanronjohn@gmail. com As this may also help you or your loved one get rid of Alzheimer's and Dementia.

And we have the ACEStudy, we have the Iowa Adoption studies. We have so much work that shows the damage that comes from dysfunctional parenting. We should be ashamed of ourselves and so should this dude. It appears to me that the goal is to break kids and then discover some Crispr something or other and sell that instead of preventing the devestation in the first place. This is a terrible lecture and it’s highly deceptive.

It’s the Environment. My guess is disfunctional hostile parenting. Screens which cause sensory deprivation on a developing brain & w/a screen mirror neurons aren’t activated so you aren’t practing social skills. And avoidant attachment. Even Selma Fraiberg saw the contribution of Hostile parenting. So did Bowlby and Harlow. It’s shameful that we say it’s environmental but discount the poor quality of parenting. It just means kids get to keep suffering until civil action collapses. A society that doesn’t protect her children & ours doesn’t deserves to collapse. We’ve done this to ourselves and our areogance won’t allow us to see that.

It has been de-bunked scientifically time and time again that parental style does not cause autism (the original "cold and distant mother"-explanation). That is not to say that bad parenting will not create so many profound problems for a child, including some that could be mistaken for autism. It is also not to say that you can't have autism and also be the victim of abusive parenting.
