This could be done quicker with the gold Elden beast greatsword. Press L2 from 5 steps out of site of grace and rinse and repeat. Should take 4 seconds each time

Woah, you sure made good work of this with the Hornet; I think the Phantom might be harder to control because of how sensitive it is to start drifting and yet it takes a lot to make it drift without losing too much speed. The Hornet in Manual can be definitely a great old friend to drive with if you are used to Daytona 1 strats since it is virtually the same handling. By the way, I wonder if you can confirm if Mitsuyoshi's vocals are still present in this version with the holding start before the Start your Engines screen?

Phantom driver here. Ordered it yesterday. I wonder how difficult this is gonna be on controller with the phantom😂. Remember from arcade you need precise steering when going max speed drifts, easily spins out. Hornet is easy. I'm in the top 20 on ps3 rankings on all courses, being one of the only 2 controller users on ps3 top 20 (rest of top 20 all in friends list, all steering wheel). Can't wait to tame the phantom.

Mitsuyoshi's vocals aren’t in this port for the same reason as the game was renamed to SEGA Racing Classic 2: Expired licensing. Which is a little odd since the only song he performed that has the name "Daytona" in its lyrics was Battle on the Edge (the intro song).

1st Battle - the breath reeked that bad Tidus started attacking his team-mate! 2nd Battle - Auron “Good luck with that ladies, I’m out!” 3rd Battle - “My client paid my price, now it’s your turn!” Seriously I HATED this ugly muthaf*cker when I played this as a kid (felt like such a boss when I unlocked the Limit Breakers and paid him back) so this is oh-so satisfying to watch 😈😈😈
