Mine take forever to sprout...but they're growing more in the winter season

@@michellechapman8738 most of my Hoya (like 90%) live in my cabinet so it’s like summer all the time in there. Do you think I should take mine out of the cabinet?

You can say no to plants?? Teach me your secrets. 😂 Great idea for a video. What always gets me is I admire someone’s amazing plant so I buy one, and the next thing I know, that same person is struggling with their plant and no longer recommends it. 😅 My own fault for being so easily influenced! Your Staghorn will grow the shield fronds as it matures. Mine is still in a pot and has had the shields for maybe a year or so. It’s on my list to find a good board to mount mine too. But don’t feel like it has to be mounted to be happy, especially young.

Haha I know right? It took me forever to learn 😂 And that’s great to know! I’ve learned a lot in my research but I’m sure there’s still a lot that I don’t know lol

Great video! On how to tell pothos and philodendron apart I would add that their new leaves grow differently, philodendron have sheaths and pothos don't.
@mindfully_growingАй бұрын
@@elenarozina2086 true! That totally do 😊
@nunu2253Ай бұрын
I learned that if you want to grow bigger leaves for pothos, it’s best to have them climbing on something. I just got a pothos and it looks so good hanging. I may propagate it sometime next year and have that plant climb on a moss pole.
@mindfully_growingАй бұрын
@@nunu2253 yes! They grow up them and some fenestrate as well! I’ve got a cebu blue and a manjula pothos that I want to try that with as well 😊

I’m a big fan of Barrina lights! I’d like to see a tour of your plants in there!
@mindfully_growingАй бұрын
I will definitely do that in one of my upcoming videos! And yes, Barrinas are fantastic grow lights 😊
@DonMikeSelectorАй бұрын
The tape that comes with the lights is not the best. For the top lights get magnets. They are like coins size and they stick to the lights and the magnet sticks to the top very well.
@mindfully_growingАй бұрын
Do you have an Amazon link by chance? I’ve tried magnets before I put the double sided tape on and the magnets were SO weak lol

Omg 🥹 Your first anthurium!! Welcome to the dark side Kens 😈🥹
@PlantedinPlatinum2 ай бұрын
Ask the seller what the conditions of the plant were in their home to make your decision 🤍 Anthuriums don’t always need lots of humidity! If it has a good root system and the seller had it in similar conditions - you’re good! 🤗
@mindfully_growing2 ай бұрын
Ooh good to know! The humidity issue was the only reason I didn’t get one before now 😂

Beautiful choices! I definitely relate to accidentally spending too much money. 😅 My Nova Ghost is definitely more silver but maybe I just lucked out with a really great specimen? I’m not sure! Since the vittarifolium isn’t a new import, I’d just put it in ambient conditions. But that’s me and I don’t have a cabinet, just bins when necessary. So you could baby it in your cabinet if you want! You are definitely going to be in trouble now. 😂
