Amazing how many supporting actors/actresses from The Sweeney also popped up in Minder several years later.

The police station is in Richmond from what I can see and is now converted into flats (overlooking the bus station) and a pizza joint.

That first metamorphosis from 'Arfurs" second-hand car site into a simple urban modern-day walled front garden is amazing.

No lash-up, love how you put work in to keep the angles and perspectives spot-on. Took real effort, and makes it. Well done.

The last location was Fulham Police Station ("F.F"). Closed since this was made, just like most London police stations. It was demolished and a school now stands on the site. So much for community policing. Thank you, Khan. Here's hoping you get voted out in May!

Thanks Lee. One of my happiest ever experiences was visiting the Blue Anchor by Hammersmith Bridge on a glorious day last summer (I knew of it from New Tricks - only just realised it features in the credits of Minder). We had a lovely lunch outside (in that very spot where Terry and Arthur sit) and the beer was to die for. We don't live in London but love visiting places of note like this when we do travel. Hopefully we'll make a return visit to the Anchor this year.

The thing is about the shot at The Blue Anchor, since I were a kid I distinctly remember a point where they swapped that image for a similar one with Terry and Arthur leaning on a metal rail at the same location, from the opposite angle. I'm no expert on the show, but I've seen a fair few repeats over the years since and all evidence appears to conclude that the alternate image never existed. But then I see this up to date shot of the place, and it now looks exactly how I recall it. Really weird.

Hi Lee, many thanks for making this video. Minder was my favourite program back in the 80's. Would it be possible to put the address of the locations at some point, or do you know if there is a list of the locations used, I would love to take my dad to visit some :)

Loved this programme about London and the almost innocents of the episodes , compared to the crap that's on today...we talked about it all day in school after each episode. Even the theme song just lifts my spirit. Well done putting this together. Miss the sweeney, minder,professionals...Great British TV, as was top of the pops...this coming from an Irish man who wished he could go back to the 80s ...just for a day..be well everyone 👍
