Jeffrey Allen no doubt she was a dripping mass. When I give sensual massage two women that I meet on craigslist, are usually wind up stretching their assholes with my fingertips and eventually tossing their salads. Best case scenario is at the crescendo of my analingus , they wind up squirting down my throat

To fix my iliacus by myself, I lay on my side with my knees up and take some kind of tool....like the handle of something about pen length and push up under the hip bone, doing that for the length of the hip cavity. Doning it just before bed helps the muscle to stay in adjustment for several hours creating more success that it will stay adjusted. It works for me. Just thought I would mention a way to fix it if you do not have a second person do it for you.

20 year competitive cycling, intense back pain getting progressively worse. Researched lower back pain causes. Realized the roll of the iliacus and the psoas. Understanding how the tightness of the psoas can pull on the vertebra column causing pain. Watching your excellent video that shows in detail how to manipulate the muscle is tremendous.

How about changing the degree of knee flexion with each session, thereby changing the tone or tension in the same two muscle groups? Has this helped clients? Thx. Cheers.
@24cranial8 жыл бұрын
I do that in each session just take it through its full range by slowly straightening the leg flat on the table. Thanks for your great question

Exceptional inserts with the cut-away anatomy here. It's interesting when working on someone....a sig. other or not...most people "jump" the first time they experience...even light touch here...as I believe most people need to be released here. Most people with back pain (most of us), need to have work here. Seeing as so many people have lower back pain...and our decision as a society to "sit our asses" down...almost all day....it's no wonder we all have major back issues. I like doing a "modified plank" standing straight and then leaning into a wall....then slowly activating my iliopsoas group to gain some strength now daily. Different "clicking sounds" (probably the femoral head) are becoming less pronounced, as the psoas in particular get stronger and place the femoral head more appropriately into the acetabulum during it's ROM. But of course,...I can't be sure....I do know that when I do this exercise with concomitant heavy abdominal recruitment...the clicking....goes away upon all ROM. Cheers, Happy Holidays to everyone.

Why use a flexible person instead of one with problems
@judahlyons12848 жыл бұрын
Because its just a demonstration, and flexible people can have issues. This girl felt all the work and as such balanced her body as well. This work isn't just for stiff people.

Judah Lyons Thank you for reply. I have transverse myelitis and seen 4 physios this year of which 2 were private but all failed to diagnose it was the psoas muscle. I've now got a muscle massage therapist that found it was the psoas muscle as he touches me of which physios don't nowadays. A lot on utube are for very flexible people to start with and is more about showing women in their sexy garments going by the men's comments. Yours is informative and not too aggressive , thank you
@judahlyons12848 жыл бұрын
thank you for you compliment. when working as a Rolfer in my private practice I always tell some wear the least amount of clothing that you feel comfortable with. that allows us to access the tissue and not work through garments which doesn't allow for some of the myofascial techniques. The model is a dancer and for our videos we are a wee bit conservative.

I hear baking soda.... (but not much about cranio sacral therapy :-( Be careful with old fashioned recommendations! The often used sodium hydrogencarbonate (short, natron, obsolete trivial name of sodium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate or sodium bicarbonate) is obsolete as an antacid. It rapidly leads to an increase in the intragastric pH (above 7), which results in an increased release of gastrin, which in turn leads to a reactively increased secretion of gastric acid. Subjectively unpleasant is the rapid onset of CO2 development in the stomach. In addition, the sodium ions are completely resorbed so that systemic adverse effects such as hypernatremia, risk of metabolic alkalosis, edema, hypertension can occur when taking large doses or for prolonged periods. why is this called biodynamic? i am quite familiar with biodynamic farming, but unsure of the words application in regards to craniosacral therapy. thanks
@judahlyons12848 жыл бұрын
I too garden biodynamically! It is a good question. Evidently, Dr. Sutherland started very mechanically, moved to a functional model where he listed to the needs of the client more, and then moved to what is called biodynamic approach because he said touch but don't touch, that there is an intelligence within the fluids that knows how to balance itself more effectively than any outside force. Use a reflective approach. If I had to put in my feeling about the word, its that you are listening more to the native intelligence and "gardening" with more of a respect to the system you are palpating. I hope that helps-Judah

How about the ones that get better Dean from the work? Did the "alternative crowd" dupe the horses as well. Have the thousands, if not millions of people who have been treated alternatively, just experiencing placebo. Science... You say that only scientifically "proven" TECHNOLOGIES ARE VALUABLE. Is metaphysics only the physics that have been proven yet?

Chris. I can understand your reaction but you are wrong. Very wrong!!! Craniosacral therapy is not so easy to understand. It also tooks for me a few years to understand how it works and what the benefits are. It takes a study for several years to feel al the in the rhythms in the body. Science is not yet interesseted in this material. Nevertheless this knowledge refers to the basic principals of life. Everythinks in life starts there and all science are based on it!! Craniosacral therapie is not only about knowing, you can't not learning from a book. You have to learn to perceive it!! To become aware in the brain how it works and the implications on health. it is famous!! That is sure.

Thank you so much for this video! I just had this done with my LMT and given I like to know what they're doing and how all of the muscles work together, this video was incredibly helpful. The muscle overlays were able to give me a visual idea of what attaches where and why she chose to work the areas she did. It also helped me make the decision on adding one extra session than I was going to just to make sure she can get me balanced again. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Hi, Thank you for this carefully explained video and especially the anatomy overlay which clarifies what is going on beneath the skin. Do you have any experience of the aftermath of radiotherapy on the body? I have been experiencing considerable pain radiating from the inner groin - exactly where the psoas and iliacus come together on the inside of the hip. It is also in the same place in the opposite side, above the pubic bone, lower back and to a lesser extent down the front of my thigh. Have you heard of radiotherapy damaging the muscles and tendons in the area where it focuses? And would your techniques help? Kind regards, Penelope
@24cranial8 жыл бұрын
Hi Penelope, I am sorry that you are suffering! I have not had any direct experience with your challenge. Radiation is tough on the body and its aftermath can obviously be very trying. I would certainly give our work a go for 3-5 sessions to see if it brings any relieve, but the burning could present a challenge. Honestly, I just don't know. I hope your suffering is alleviated.
