Can you please tell me where you purchased the valve ? Can you please send information for that whole kit set.

I think you are using it incorrectly. That glass "lid" is meant to fill the opening when not in use.... so it can be used like a regular table.

why did you cut old heat shrink off?? should of left it them you could tell its the propane assemble...

Why would you remove all of the galvanized piping and add all that black junk. ?? You added fittings that are rotting away and more black steel to rot away with it

@artineivazi549 Жыл бұрын
I don't know if this is true but the values look identical besides the orifice? The natural gas one is smaller because of the high pressure. So I think you could have gotten away with just replacing the orifice with a bigger one and replacing the hose with a nature gas one.

I'm thinking the same. I had a Propane BBQ I got from Sears years ago, and discovered the difference is just a larger orafice on each valve. I went to a store with a bunch of drill bits a bit larger than what fit my propane one, and tested the size of the same BBQ but NG at the store, drilled my orifaces and has been working great for probably 20 yrs now.

I got this same model in 2022. Here are the fire times and how long a bottle will last. I suspect about a 6-7 hour full heat level per bottle. Fire Table Times: 4 Hours High + 7.5 Hours Low

Just a note the heat shrink tubing is to cover the mesh screen, valve and burner tube inlet to restrict the oxygen intake. Without the heat shrink, the flame becomes quite blue when converted to natural gas.

Hello , I am wondering , as I can not find a video on it. But I bought a Vermont direct vent fireplace..it happened to be propane ,I was told it was dual fuel ..any way the tag does say it cannot be converted however I am wondering if that is about liability issues ? As why can't the firebox be replaced with all the things here ? Such as regulator and orfice? ..I would love any info as I spent a few hundred and I love how it looks

Great video Mark. I just received mine today model 403 with the accessories as well. I was just curious if the heat sink on the fire table really does the job of blocking the heat towards the decking. As Chris mentioned below, it looks like you have a composite decking and so do I so I'm also wondering if it is necessary to place a fire proof mat or something for the fire table to sit on to prevent any damage to the decking. Thanks

Hey Mark, Nice video btw, I will do the same conversion as soon as the conversion kit comes back in stock at Outland Living... I like the look and heat from the propane! It's a GREAT product! But since I have a natural gas outlet on my patio, I believe It would be dumb to not convert it and never care about changing propane tank... Do you like it so far with natural gas compared to propane? Is the flame not visible anymore... I don't want to do the conversion than swap back to propane... Also, does it consume a lot of gas? Most of the time I run my fire at the minimum... Is it more efficient on natural gas compared to propane or vice-versa? Big thanks! If anyone knows any answers feel free to respond =) Cheers

I have owned two tables for 2 years. They are incredible units, best in the business IMO. If you ever need to contact the company, they are amazing to deal with. Can't recommend enough. Similar tables are hundreds more for lessor quality.

Anyone watching this video should note that the heat shrink wrap does NOT go where he put it. It's supposed to cover the orifice and venturi tube. This explains the lack of flame. There is too much air getting in. I've seen a previous comment stating that you can't see the flame. This is why. Make sure to follow the manual for that portion of the conversion because the video is incorrect. Otherwise it's a great video. :)
@5thGenNativeTexan2 жыл бұрын
Yep. Absolutely correct. Could be quickly fixed just by wrapping some pvc (electrical) tape around the venturi tube to close it up.

Awesome video ! You didn't mention if the amount of heat changed by the conversion. My understanding is that propane burns much hotter than natural gas. The pyramid patio heater you are showing is exactly like mine and it is saying 42,000 BTU .... does this drop significantly when its converted to natural gas??? What did you find ??? Thanks
