I was fishing on a private commercial the other day, fishing popped up bread, similar set up to you in this video 10 gram Icm match cube .Caught a few F1 s but noticed they were not hooked well ,some come off. I put this down to the weight being too light. Any comments much appreciated .Regards Dave

So Natural Deep Water if a mix of skimmers and roach (and other silverfish), adding So Natural Black Roach if it is more roachy. Been used successfully on Loch Ken for a nice mixed bag of roach, dace and skimmers.

I'm finding myself moving away from the sonubaits groundbaits. I think you've made it far too complicated with all the mix combinations you've just confused me.

Most fisheries use hallibut pellets to fred their stock, its cheap so using the same bait makes sense. Dont understand why people are knocking it, ive outfished regulars on the bank 😂

Agree I would not pay £3 for a tin of corn with a bit of flavour. You can get 3 tins of green giant for £3:20 and a £3 for a flavour which lasts ages

Flat Calm is it high pressure?. Maybe the fish are higher in open water.

It's a winter tactic and was filmed 2 weeks ago in anticipation for cooler weather ahead. Can't remember many days this year that have seen lakes freeze and ice breaking required... old video?

I prepped my pellets as guided and invested in a bottle of power scopex for a winter day session on Partridge lakes today. I had to test it for myself for proof and a confidence boost, omg the morning session 2 F1's. Come midday time for the haze. Come 3:30 and still only 5 degrees 13 F¹'s had been caught n released and I'm a very happy chappy n will now be investing in more of Lee's suggestions. Top effort to you all.

Impressive content, Sonubaits. Looking forward to seeing your next upload from you. I clicked the thumbs up button on your video. Keep up the fantastic work! Your breakdown of bait boosters versus liquid flavors was really enlightening. How do you think seasonal changes affect fish responses to different flavor profiles in your experience?

Try 3 parts groundbait to 1 part water. Looks like crap initially but give it half an hour and it should be good. riddle it then.

Additives catch more anglers than fish IMO. So many “tests” on YT have shown mixed and inconclusive results. And the additives are often quite expensive. Spend the money on different baits, so you have options on the day. If fish want to feed, they will feed.

after watching underwater filming of carp taking brightly coloured wafters or pellets they come along see them and suck them in very quickly they don't swim upto the wafter very slowly and start sniffing around it to see what flavour it is before the take its the visibility that counts and the size on the day
