Yes Mark, they are made in different keys. I like the C to C because there's a sequence of notes that can be played on that one that boosts the immune system. I find the F to F one works well with most male vocal ranges.

Locate desired note by letter and symbol markings over and under note openings, or by the music staff and notes embossed on the nickeled cover. Place lips against corresponding opening and blow gently into it to obtain pitch you want.” That’s a direct quote from the WM. KRATT PITCH PIPE CO. Owners manual that comes with the MK1-F pitch pipe. Also, the tone chambers are designed so that the four air vent holes are positioned on the top, and not on the bottom as you are using it. Did you ever read the owners manual? I guess not.

Yes I am aware of the usual way to play a pitch pipe as a reference pitch. I use it as a healing instrument. When you hold it the way I teach you feel the vibrations in your fingertips. All of the body's energy meridians are in our finger tips. Holding it the way I suggest sends the vibrations of the pitches into your body's energy systems for optimum healing sounds. I'm sure you have never used it for that purpose, this way is correct for you and anyone who uses it as a pitch reference.

I'm really new to music and I've had intuitive feelings a out toning my voice with a shruti box. Researching and learning what I can I came across this video. I love your use of energy meridians and interpretations of vibration. Do you have any recommendations on brands I may look into? Also how to use this tool to learn how to sing better

@jeremytoon8106 Hi Jeremy, I recommend the Kratt chromatic pitch pipe. If you have a low voice get the F-F one. If you have a high voice like a tenor get the C- C chromatic pitch pipe. I'm not a singing/voice coach so I can't give you any tips for usingbitvti sing better.

I did and was wrong every time

I have never seen this before. Usually first and second fingers have opposite directions.

Hi, yes it's normal for the pendulum to not move, but that doesn't mean that your yes is a still pendulum. What happened when you tested for "no"?

Ok, try this before you test the yes... stand up, put your right hand on your left shoulder, watch your hand stroke down your left arm, then put your left hand on your right shoulder and watch it as it strokes down your right arm. Do this a couple of times and try again to test your yes finger.

Great question! Sharp signs # raise the note one half step higher. The flat signs b lower the note one half step. Ex. G# is the same note as A flat. Or D# is the same note as E flat. So the sharp sign is located to the right of the note D is the same blow hole as the flat signs located to the left of the note E. Hope that helps

Sure, just be sure to test your first finger second finger and thumb of that hand and then go by that.

Hi Andrea, the physical chimes are made by Malmark out of Pennsylvania. They are tuned to A=440Hz. My chakra scale recordings have been edited to A=432Hz.

It doesn't move when you test it over your fingers? I haven't seen that. Check at different times of day could be your energy was very low when you tried?

Take a few deep breaths. Maybe try a little physical activity before trying the pendulum like some stretching or even a little dancing.
