As I'm used to driving around Silverstone in F1 games, I have to say the difference in pace between F1 cars and SUVs is completely mind-blowing. Great video though! Really enjoyed watching it!

@@kacperjakubowski3972 Yeah it’s a bit slower. For what it is the car is a beast but it’s a boat with great straight line speed.

Bad audio balance. I didn’t realize until after recording. Next one will be better. Trying to get back into recording after a little break. Getting the settings dialed in on the new PC

The Nascar Layout I believe suits indycar as it removes the long straightaway from the Le Mans Chicane to the entrance of the inner course. It actually adds more dynamic to the race. I wish Indycars would race in Daytona one day.

We just ran a Formula Vee race at Lime Rock with the SCCA. I downloaded the car so my son could do a few laps before the race. The gearing is slightly off - probably because of the tires. The car is very close though. Fastest time of the weekend was in the 1:02s. With a national driver I would expect in the 1:00s. One of the guys from iRacing ran with us last year and was probably the impetus for the car. Hoping this might result in some crossover from iRacing to real racing. I love that they added it to the service. Good to hear it’s quite close. Never driven one. My only racing experience is 3 years of Skip Barber series waaay back. Loved watching Formula Vee races at Lime Rock

@@KDJsimracing I did 3 years too - in the 70's :) - Then worked for the school for 8 years - their current series is way out of my price range - but we are rebuilding FV as a class and there are companies that will rent cars. If anyone gets bit buy the FV bug it is not cheap, but relatively inexpensive and maybe the best bang for the buck if you want to go formula racing.

@@hawksite I did the series from ‘05-‘07. Learned a lot and met some really great people. Unfortunately, these days sim racing fits my budget a bit better. Still loads of fun.

This was just the default setup. Just jumped in to try out the track. I act didn’t even plan on recording until the last minute.
