+Winston Bay ok, I been play this game from 12-21-2015, and I am lv 25 right now. I can read chinese, the quest you pick on the board , it give you a lot experience, coins which can buy item upgrade weaps and gears brabra...but you have to consider which quest you pick, for example, some for capture(bring trap and items), some for kill, some for break the parts of monster(like head ), and some just let monster fall down(like keep beat it legs)...everyday they limited experience, no matter you are VIP or not, before 40 level, you max can upgrade 2 lv each day (except the 1st day and 2nd dat you can get lv10, or lv14 because of grow exprience so low ). Also there is blue ticket button with numbers shows on your screen down left that means you max times for hunter today. But before 40lv, only do main quest, just like you talk to ppl, and receive the quest, also when you take quest, 2 buttons shows up, 1 is for do alone(right), and 1 is looking for team(left side). I wish it was possible to dodge all the telegraphs. You have two charges of dodge that regenerate over time. The dodge also doesn't cause invulnerability frames so you're not invulnerable to hits when dodging. He caught me a couple times mid-dodge with the disarm AoE. If I could spam dodge I would and dodge everything, but that's not how the mechanic works. I also was trying to face him away from the group, as most tanks do.

Colin Fisher what did you think of the game's atmosphere in the fight? I can now officially say I could never play this game for the sheer fact that you can tank with a gun and the healer looked like he was holding shock paddles at you.

Well the shock paddles are Resonators in game, and they explain it a bit with a little lore. And a tank with a gun? I think it works. It's a shotgun-esque weapon, so it makes sense that it'd be close range. I think the atmosphere in the game is phenomenal. It's very polished and looks great. Check out the open beta that's going on until the 18th and decide for yourself!

Colin Fisher I think Matthew H was trying to explain that you don't need to use the dodge mechanic to dodge attacks. You have more than enough time to 'strafe' out of those projections. Strafe out of the small conical damage, save the dodge mechanic for the larger AoE. Simple, really. (And since everything in WS has a projection, using the dodge mechanic for every one is stupid. You'd be dodging menial default attacks and eating larger mechanic attacks, as you were doing in this video). Video quality was good, though.
