The cop says the man did say he smoked weed and it’s very quiet and can only be heard on the other cop’s video. And then she lies and says she’s never seen the other cop’s video when the state feeds her the lie to say she hasn’t so that it can’t be used to impeach her. The cop knows to even tell the defense to make sure she turns the volume all the way up because she HAS seen the recording and claims he says he smoked very quietly at a certain portion of the recording of the other officer. The other officer’s recording that she lies and says she never saw.

All cops are dirty so the answer to the question in the title is a resounding yes always yes all cops are dirty.

A cop’s nose isn’t a breathalyzer. Why would she need another cop to verify if she smelled alcohol when they have to breathalyze or take blood.

It doesn’t matter if the defense can request a public record because the state is 100% required to provide ALL of the discovery to the defense. It’s literally the state’s job and the state saying “you could’ve got it yourself” when the defense objects due to not receiving discovery, that’s not the correct answer. The correct answer is the state is in violation for not providing all discovery to the defense.
