Hey man. Awesome video. Thanks for the tips. I am practicing wheelies and getting used to the rear brake. I hit Bp a few times now but every time I hit it , I smash the brake and drop it down. How much pressure should I apply so the bike doesn’t drop right down ?

I just did the ND4 mod for about the same cost but decided not to change the fork oil. Might have gone heavier weight but it's my very petite wife's Grom and I think it might be overkill to also increase the fork oil viscosity.

I did Bel-Ray 15W because the dealer I get my oil from didn't have anything higher than 15, still a great improvement over the original fork oil and I am happy with it.

Great vid, man! I'd like to learn wheelies on something like the Grom (Austrian brand: Brixton Crossfire 125 XS) but I've been told that it's pretty hard to translate what you've learned on an ultralight tiny funbike to a full size motorcycle. Is that true and if so, why?
@groovy3286
@groovy3286 Жыл бұрын
From what I've heard (don't have experience), people that learn to wheelie on a nice light low powered bike have far better control with a bigger bike. Might be wrong, but from the people I've spoken to that's what they've said

brake fade is from pads overheating my friend, not fluid haha
@lotlizardz8218
@lotlizardz8218 2 жыл бұрын
Can you explain how once you get brake fade once then it happens a lot quicker every time after? When you keep the same pads, bleed brakes and they don’t fade anymore? Brake fluid has a boiling point which is why the more expensive fluid is a lot harder to burn up

Can you do a video on mods that will help to wheelie the grom
@DanielLopez-fs1xj
@DanielLopez-fs1xj 2 жыл бұрын
Clutch could help get some exhaust it can add 0.4 to 0.8 hp depending on the brand if your willing to big bore the engine and get oil injectors stock groms are bad for it cause if not the oil stays in the back of your motor causing your gears in the front to seize the motor
