She was about 58 miles away from Titanic, staying away from those dangerous iceberg fields when she picked up the Titanic’s distress call and was bravely and carefully navigating her way through those fields, while at the same time, making very efficient preparations to receive 2,200 people from the disaster when the Titanic went the rest of her way beneath the surface of the ocean.

No one knows for sure where he really was. I mean there were survivors who claimed that he was in the wheelhouse, some who claimed he jumped from the bridge and some who claimed he got washed clear of the bridge like Captain Turner did.

Honour, you wouldnt see this today, anyone else would trying to ecapse death, the "captain always goes down with the ship" he didnt have to do this at all, there was no obligation to do so but he chose it, to him it was fitting, he felt he had failed his last trip before retirement, he never experienced such disastar in is illustrious career at sea, never, "the millionaires captai" his homour and bravey will not be forgotten,
