I love watching these tournaments so much, but I wish whoever is responsible for streaming them would fix these constant lags that would occur. It's been happening for a long time and it's really frustrating to watch.

tbh, all with the tournament stuff said, it is still a good fix. I mean, the problem was THE play test before release (I and I wouldn't blame them that much since sometimes it is hard to know the true potential of cards if you haven't found the proper way to abuse it). But ultimately, it was made into the live version. And the quick response to make change according to the meta as soon as they can is 1000000 times better than just let it slide and let the obviously unbalanced card roam free in the tournament. Yes, it is taxing on the participant and I know rebuilding deck is a hard work. But think of it like this. You have a restaurant and know your glass has cracked and all the drink will leak. I'd rather patch the glass up to make it hold liquid, but look ugly, than serve the drink with leaked glasses. Customer will not like it, but at least it is much better than just have beautiful glasss, but with leaks and let the customer suffer for it.

Although it was majorly broken, it was pretty fun and permissible since it didn't get to last long I guess. Having new, interesting, and fresh decks become meta more frequently is always more fun! I wish they would make more rotations and hotfixes more frequently but I know it won't happen. :(

I’m actually super glad these changes were made. Helps keep the game more open to different deck ideas. Props to the team for actually making a fast change to things!

any update that makes freeze decks more useless is a good update to me :3 and for the patch?.... nice >:3 i guess they didnt do it early cus they wanna see how those new cards where used on this days and when they saw how broken actually was they nerf it :3 i dont wanna see gitcg becomes all treasure abusers :,v less broken things, more variety <3

I'm not a fan of these crazy exploitable cards like treasure hunt or pre nerf Jeht. It's just not fun to watch your opponent play 15 cards in a turn while you can't do anything. I think it should be limited like I haven't lost yet or Teyvat fried egg but maybe 2 or 3 uses per round.

I feel mew deck is gonna be meta again because crab.. that thing is shockingly annoying and you need gravestone for it. Well it's still a good deck even without crab in the meta, I just have to force gravestone in my casual decks now... maybe cyno will become an important card for me?

Nerfs are fine on their own and the timing is incredibly unfortunate but id still say they were justified! What i think they should do to prevent this from happening is more playtesting because although nerfs like these are great they still do hurt competitive integrity of the tournament

While this hotfix is needed, I’d prefer the change happens in the patch note. Hotfixes if happen often, can cause troubles for tournament and confusion for casual players.

big fan of hotfix nerfs! waiting an entire month for something so broken to be changed is what kills my motivation to play most of the time.
