@@JustAnotherStrugglingWriter congrats on 30k! That’s a huge milestone. Setting a soft and hard deadline also really helped me finish my first draft. It kept me so motivated I ended up up finishing by the soft deadline and am enjoying the holidays as my break before revision!

Scrivener is such a powerful tool I love it!! and omg I feel u on cutting a character. She was one of those characters that was in the story in the beginning but didn't really appear in the story again until much later XD anywaysss happy 28th birthday!! <3

@@NellieMunroAuthor there’s definitely more flexibility with running a business, but it takes up a lot of brain space. Sometimes I feel guilt over the seemingly endless business to do list but writing and YT are also important to me and prevent me from getting too wrapped up in negativity around these three big things (coffee shop, YT, the book) in my life. Getting up at 4am is brutal but kudos to you! It’s totally going to be worth it!

Hahaha I have yet to edit a single chapter because I’m refusing to leave the drawing board until I’m happy with my character profiles! (Yes, it’s been a gruelling 2 weeks just figuring out their personalities lol)
