Where do you get the idea that this weapon won the war. Did the Russians use it no, did America win the war, no did it kill more Germans than any other weapon, no. When will America understand what everyone else knows. The Russians beat Germany albeit with Allied help and the Grand had one very bad failing when the clip was emptied it was automatically rejected and German and Japanese troops soon learnt to listen to the clip being rejected and attacked before it was refilled

Great system indeed! Instead of purchasing Verba from friendly Russia, we had to wait 4 years for France to deliver us the 18 Mistral MANPADS that we had ordered.

It is a shame the French couldn't get the lever-delayed action to work. The FAMAS is such a cool rifle.

It's true that the FAMAS design showed a lot of promise and potential. The concept behind the lever-delayed action mechanism was innovative, but it seems there were difficulties in its implementation. Bullpup carbines can indeed present challenges due to the compact space within the shoulder stock for mechanical components. Nevertheless, the FAMAS remains an iconic and distinctive rifle, with its futuristic appearance and its association with the French armed forces.

I have an Argentine FAL that I bought from a police officer in Orlando Florida many years ago. It is very nicely made and shoots very well. This kind of looks like a cross between the Galil and the FAL, very interesting. Cheers!

A useless POS only ever used when there was no fighter opposition. So bad they were withdrawn from the BOB after just a week. Only ever partly effective as ground support after ait supremacy gained. Like all Nazi German machines, all propaganda, no substance.
