Your idea is a better fix and much faster than drilling it out. Unless you have the drill bits already. Either way will work.

Hey buddy my 7 trucks over past few years did the same thing what I did was to get a long drill bit and drilled inside the tank threw a plug that I unscrewed out and drilled from there. Then it worked fine without buying a new air tank. If you can't find a long drill bit put a extension on the drill to the bit .

I think I wanna try your method. Where did you get the long drillbit from and how Strong of a drill did you need to pierce through the metal?

Hi. I have an issue with Cascadia Cummins engine. Ultrashift transmission. Code j1939 (500k) CAN bus performance . Code related to central gateway . Could be an issue with a TGW module itself? No crank from the key. You can start it by shorting the starter. I’m assuming that there is nocommunication between modules. Help me out please. I subscribed on this channel

We had an issue with a central gateway module before on a Freightliner Cascadia with a Cummins. Gateway module wiring/harness was the issue. Fixed that and the truck ran perfect after. Are you getting any check engine lights? Any codes?

This is meant to be a temporary fix while you take the tank off and make the proper repairs. Air dryer should also be bypassed for emergencies as well, just to get you into a shop.

The real secret to a juicy smoked brisket, assuming you have trimmed and cooked it correctly, is to rest it for at least 4 hours. Many top BBQ joints rest their briskets overnight in a 140 degree holding oven. Basically they rest the briskets for about as long as they were in the smoker. I've found that when I do overnight cooks, I take the brisket off around noon, wrap it up in some old towels and stick it in a big cooler to rest until dinner time. So about a 6-hour rest.
