As someone who is a complete and total noob to this app and painting in general, I would really love to see a tutorial where you actually watch and "paint" along with a Bob Ross episode on the Sketchbook app. Things like how to get around the app not having a built-in settings for the palette knives that Bob uses so often, and describing ways to get the same effect using something else on the app. I have always wanted to try my hand at actually trying to paint a Bob Ross lesson, but I thought it might be a good idea to try to replicate his methods on my iPad and Apple Pencil before trying it for real. SO any and every tip for how to accomplish that sort of painting using this iPad app would be very much appreciated.

@@digiartden6792 awesome! I actually forgot I ever made this comment, but glad to hear you’re gonna make an instructional like that! It’d be indescribably helpful if you could basically just explain the settings and things you use to approximate things/techniques that the app doesn’t have like a palette knife, how to accomplish the wet-on-wet style on the app, what colors to use, how to mix those colors like Bob Ross would, how to replicate techniques that he’d use like lightly tapping his fan brush on the canvas and things like that. Also, in your opinion, how similar is “painting” on the app to actually painting on a canvas? Are they pretty similar or is real painting a completely different skillset/experience? Could someone who has only ever painted digitally transfer over to real painting without too much trouble? Very much looking forward to it!

I will try slowing down in the next videos.. meanwhile, you can change the KZbin playback speed in the options tab for this video.. hope this helps😇

Wow. What a beautiful painting! I have Autodesk Sketchbook on all my devices: laptop, pc, tablet and mobile phone. Besides that i have two pen tablets to draw on the screen of my devices. Maybe a new hobby for me in the future. First I have to figure out Sketchbook
