Very nice! First Coptic Bible study I have seen on my thread. Former Western/Eastern Catholic, now attending a Malankara Syrian liturgy. I am presently attending St Stephan's in Titusville. I am unable to relate how thankful I am. I am very impressed with the Copts that I have been introduced to. Their knowledge of faith and scripture is impressive. I can only hope for this, one day, for myself.

This is a beautiful idea - the allure and nature of Middle Eastern music infused once again with the Christian scriptures but in the modern age. Love from a Catholic brother.

I know I'm watching from the future, but it's so silly having them speak with the masks on, you can't hear anything

Ok with all due respect please stop. 1COR.7 is dealing with fornication In Matt.19:9 Jesus let the people know that If you divorce and remarry due to adultery or any other reason than fornication then you are committing adultery. In 1COR.7:10-11 Paul is speaking to people divorcing to the fornication of the woman, but he says the Lord's commands the wife not to leave, but if she does she should remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. He also commands the husband not to put away the wife. Remember Deut 24:1 he sends her out and Deut 24:2 she leaves, but now they are being given new commandments 1COR.7:10-11. In 1COR.7:12-16 Paul is still dealing with divorce due to fornication but now belief comes into question, these Corinthians have turn to God and the law is read in the synagogues every Sabbath day, but now they are learning of Christ and his new commandments to try and stay together. So the unbeliever follows the Law deut.24 1-4, but the believer will follow Christ 1COR.7:10-11, so Paul gives his advice 1COR.7:12:16. How else would the children be unclean 1COR.7:14 but for fornication? How else would the believer not be in bondage if the unbeliever wants to leave 1Cor.7:15?
