I used to live in Payson/Star Valley. 4 seasons with generally mild winter-low snow accumulation and lasts only a few days. Funny to watch flat landers “(those from Phoenix) drive in it!!! Also Aydin has a Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star chapter.

If I wanted someone to build me a small say a 1200 square foot home in Payson on my land, who would I call ? Does Payson allow module homes or manufacture homes on lots in Payson?

You would need to see if your community has any manufactured home restrictions. Payson has a quite a few communities with restrictions on putting up a manufactured home. Gila County has a permit department - you would want to check with them as well.

Hey there! This was a nice little video with good information about the railway trip. Thinking about doing this in October 2024 on a trip out west. East Coaster here! And if I was going to do the trip I would love to have a GoPro to shoot some cool things. So my question is, is what kind of GoPro do you have and do you like it? I need to get one! Please let me know when you have a free moment! Thanks so much! PS: We also prefer warmer weather so can it still be pleasant and warm in this region and the Sedona area in the first week of October?

Hello! I have a GoPro HERO9 camera and I also got the expandable selfie stick for the GoPro at the same time. Really helps keep the camera steady! For weather, Sedona and surrounding areas should be in the low 80s during the day and then somewhere in the 50s at night. October is a great month to visit. Enjoy your visit!

@debbiem73 No, they do have homes under $1M. The lowest price home in the area right now is $625,000 but within the past year, some homes have sold in the $500,000 range. Depends on size, # of bedrooms, etc.
