But after watching Murphys lap and win pole by a full second i think that is indeed the lap of the gods. But there is no shame scott u right there with him. Did Brown get a penalty for that? Mostert should have cleared the championship easily last year. Race 7 and the 500 alone enough points lost to have beaten Brown. If he didn't have bad luck he wouldn't have any.

One of my best memories, being in that garage and on pit lane, that day, that weekend, writing about K-Mart Racing for The Great Race book. I come back time and time again to watch this. Still magic after all this time.
