I’m definitely with y’all on ant probably not being the long term guard but I think he is criminally underrated as a whole by the league. Dude was getting guarded like dame getting doubled constantly for the first time in his career. While that was happening he put up solid efficiency on some pretty tough shots. With a year of that under his belt it’s going to be interesting to see how he responds to that and if sharpe and scoot can take some pressure off of him so ant can play a little more off ball

It definitely wasn't automatic BC of Neil Olshey! Olshey refused to put the appropriate talent needed around Dame & Aldridge to "win at least 1" championship.

Roster potential was legit.. they would definitely be contenders, maybe being that close would have triggered some good trade move.. if Portland drafter Bam over Collins, championship would have been very very possible..

Lamarcus had a heart murmur, enlarged heart which can lead to passing out in a game....he dealt with it as a Spur and the Nets ...had a small issue in Portland. Pop made him play the 5 and rebound and he wasn't the go to scorer as a Spur. We definitely should have traded him...that's on Paul and Olshey Batum paces himself and takes games off from time to time

Portland traded 4 picks & Malcolm to land Avdija. It's considered an A+ trade by many reports. If that's the case, why are team sponsored reporters screaming at Blazer fans to lower expectations, and prepare for the 4th straight year of terrible basketball ??

Disgusting how no blazer fans gaf he's a modern day nazi. Like if hitler youth played basketball and put up 14 and 9 with defense, youd be salivating. They used precision strike missles to kill a woman and her 4 day old twins because she posted about snipers taking out kids on her fb. He's a nazi. What is wrong with you people?

Anf was warming the bench for years, now is his time to shine. he will definitely start over Scoot, however they will both play around 30min. scoot cannot start hes not ready yet and he gets in foul trouble too often

Our best starting lineup is Ant - Thybulle - Deni - Grant - Ayton. Grant plays like a shooting guard on offense so we don’t need a traditional SG or 4th primary ball handler. With Scoot & Sharpe off the bench, we have the most talented bench in the league.

Anf Sharpe Avdija Grant Ayton. Scoot Thybulle Camara Walker Clingan. Rupert overtakes Thybulle minutes after allstar weekend. Hope Thybulle, Murray, Grant get traded asap (Rob Williams if there is a good return Feb deadline).

Leaving root is perfect timing. We have a contender right now. Why is every media member telling everyone to expect us to tank and crying because we haven’t traded our vets. But refuse to acknowledge that we have a legitimate team right now.

Deni fan here. Deni has been great in switching both on O and D - has played 1 to 5 with different levels of success but still better than any other player on the Wizards. He plays well close to the rim and has good post up game ,had good success against players like Yannis and others. He also is a very good rebounder ,so no issue there

First of all, there is no such thing as "Power Forward" in the NBA anymore. There are only 3 positions: guards, wings, center. There are bigger wings who rebound better, but all wings must be able to shoot and handle the ball a little bit. Deni and Grant are the starting wings. Camara and Walker will be reserves.

"Reports" of trading Anf are fake, big teams that want him want to push some narrative. Portland are not in a rush to move Grant whos 31yo and whos not in this rebuilt timeline. they definitely dont need to move Anf NOW, he just turned 25 (only 1.5 years older than Avdija who we just traded for) Scoot is not certified as well. they have Bird rights on him, so even they dont negotiate extension, they can easily match any offer. But imo they is room for anf scoot sharpe all 3 to play 30+ min each (anf plays pg and sg, sharpe sg and sf). find a team that wants to trade probably their best player thats just turned 25. Grant Thybulle Timelord can be traded before training camp. Ayton maybe to a desperate team in feb. Anf lets see after 2025 draft (monitor scoot development, what pick we got and player we draft)

You recorded the episode only after he first half, but it was pleasure to see how he closed the game with that bounce pass, then a clutch block, then forcing the inbound turnover that get the win. Hope he’ll keep taking 3’s! That’s really important that he’ll keep defences honest.

Great show tonight fellas! Keep up the good work.🫡 Been a fan from day 1. U guys bring a fresh perspective that I enjoy. As for our beloved Blazers are concerned, I'm hoping Cling Kong will work on keeping good positioning for rebounds after going for a blocked shot. He missed a few boards that could've & should've been his. His passing is deft. Defense is outstanding already but needs sharpening. I believe our future at Center is good. No matter what, I think Scoot should've played in this Summer League. Podzenski, Cam Whitmore Jamie Jaquez to name a few all showed up to play Summer League.. where's Scoot?🧐🔎 Go#TrailBlazers🤍🖤❤️

Justin Minaya might be the worst player in the NBA. He played 34 games, shot 28% FG, averaged 1pt & 1reb. Cronin & Billups gave Minaya a new contract. This "sustainable build" is looking like a sustainable rebuild.

well i think hes more suited as a PF, and the way the league is moving with 7'4" C next to a 7'0" PF, might fit well next to Clingan if they work out. Ayton is probably the best mid range shooter among C. if he stretch a bit and get some decent 3point percentage they will be great fit imo. to become a contender need to be able to match small and tall lineups, be great defensively and able to outscore any team.

I’m high on Clingan, and I think he’s got a lot of great intangibles. But I do feel like his ceiling is lower than most people think. I wouldn’t be surprised if he never shoots. Maybe he never gets any quicker mobility wise. Regardless, for a #7 pick in a weak weak class, it’s still good value and he’s likely going to be a solid starter.
