yes there is a mod called Boss Arena. But its a little complicated to install (you need to install original mod and then 1.10 patch both from nexusmods) and you can also only use it offline and have to install mod Engine 2. And when you want to go back online you need to restore original files that were overwritten like regulation bin

See a place in that fight where it would make the fight shorter ? i simply dindt see much use for it to be honest.. tried it a couple times in practice and just decided i would go with r1s and l2s for poise break

using the spear twice is what does the rip out of the spine and produces the immense posture damage. Doing it only once does nothing ;)

Honestly its a good but not exceptional good weapon. The best thing about it is 30 poise damage with a relativly fast charged r2. Also the r1 spam does good damage. However keep in mind in this fight i had a very specific setup that only works when you can allready 0 hit the boss. I went for high damage and low survivability. Almost any hit would have 1shot me

:) maybe. Original Bow damage is quite low in Elden Ring to be honest. So its q bit stressfull to no hit with it since you cant make a mistake in a 3 1/2 minute fight ;)

Id say its probably the second best true melee weapon after Serpent Hunter. It needs some practice but then you can script fights

Well the idea is to show an easy way to fight the guy SOLO 1v1. I read many posts that the main difficulty for people is to fight 2v1 since it requires smart positioning. I showed that you can just use 5 throwables each and blast the 2nd and 3rd guy so that it basically stays 1on1. Are there different ways to do it ? yes. If you dont care about fighting you can just use the spectre and it will be 100% win unless you are really terrible. But i never enjoyed using "spectre"/spirit summons/ NPC Help in any souls games

@@lordad Fair, I solo'd as well I just kept them separate by running away so your strat is admittedly quicker, I just prefer to conserve my resources for the late game.

it may be a matter of being too scared when fighting. Like when you are stressed while fighting you dont have time to memorize the attack patterns cause you feel too stressed. A way many pro- 0 hit runners master bosses is to download a cheat engine like "we-mod" and then make a save file before the boss. Now enable god mode and dont attack the boss but just try to parry or evade attacks and learn the patterns. Do this so you can concentrate without having the fear of failing. Dont kill the boss this way since it will rob you of a great experience but it is a good tool to learn the boss patterns while being able to stay relaxed

learn his movements, take your time, use your points and your money so u dont loose them, then put in your head that u will die, because you are learning, and try to parry as many attacks as you can and be aware of the red kanji, many of then can be avoided by just jumping

For this in first phase you just need "Oil" and "FLAME Shinobi Tool" alright? So you go on and start the fight throw oil to ape and get closer to him then use flame tool and he get so much fire damage and you can hit him about 4.5 attack after that repeat it until he dies in first phase, for the second phase you need to change your Shinobi tool to spear (third one i suggest you, if it's need upgrade) after that you must remember and read his moves and do perfect parries that it's just so easy you need to focus on it after perfect parries his going down and you must use your spear to drag out that worm thing that lives inside the ape and this attack make so much damage repeat it about 2 or 3 times and he will gonna die so easy Here's the video for guide if you need it's a walkthrough but you jump at 1:22:55 to see ape boss fight. yeha and at that time i thought what is even the point in fighting a boss when you cheese him.... you can aswell just cheatcode/cheatengine yourself immortal . Its actually a very satisfying and good fight after you learned the mechanics <3

why not watch video before you comment ? i use mikiri counter a lot ... even in this video. I just dont use it every time because i enjoy dealing with attacks in different ways for variety reasons... i use the first Mikiri counter at 0.59 >-<

I dont have it atm.... since i havent played ER for 6-7 months or so . But if you have problems you can go offline and use merchant mod from nexus and get the items i have in this video. Then when you have the items delete the mod and you can go online again and keep the items. This worked back when i played since i did a lot of testing with 100s of different builds and obviously i didnt have time to legit farm all the items for all the different builds >.<
