We are here to fulfill Scripture. If we hang on to the things in this world we'll never grow. Everything waxes and wanes and dies here. When we awaken from the sleep of death we rise and begin to understand that we are not these mortal bodies... no one ever really dies. We keep coming back until we awaken. God is to your own wonderful human Imagination. Neville Goddard

A wonderful, well done video. The interview with John Wilson was very moving. For me one of the greatest performances for sheer energy and virtuosity was "Taste - Live At the Isle of Wight". Rory and John were both ferocious with Charlie McCracken playing a sold bass. It is a tragedy that Eddie Kennedy split the band for personal gain. Another wonderful KZbin video on John Wilson is Marcus Howard "Irish Blues Stories".

"An excellent guitar player", Miles Davis once said. We can only agree. Why did you leave us, dear John?

A friend of mine, who has all of Martyn's and Miles’s work, told me some 25 years ago. He had read it in an article. No reason for me to doubt him. Unfortunately I can’t tell you where he found it...

@ELEMAY100…thank you so much for this clip of John…it’s a joy to watch now…you are absolutely right when you say that John will still be talked about in 100 years from now…his music is literally the soundtrack to my entire life…he is sorely missed and was a master at his craft…❤

@johndamienreilly…it seems to me that you hadn’t noticed most of the human race have mental health issues and addiction problems…throughout it all…’John was a genius at his craft’…yes he might have been ‘on one’ a lot of the time but he was always sublime at what he did…I knew John…I also grew up in Glasgow and was brought up by my grandparents…my school bf’s brother was one of Johns best friends which was how we first met…he was 20 years older than us but we looked up to him and thought he was awesome…I’ve also had mental health issues and addiction problems throughout my life as a result of my childhood…ppl shouldn’t be dismissed because of these kind of issues…I’ve sorted myself out now with a lot of work over the years…John had his music…he himself said once that some ppl keep a diary…his music was indeed just that…

Go and buy yourself 'And...Live' !!! It's not cheap and now quite rare. Paid $60.00. Worth every penny !!!!! :) JM is in fantastic vocal and guitar form. I'm walking the streets of Bristol, UK wearing his long leather coat, just bought on auction, and his waistcoat. If you see me say 'hello' ! :)

Love the slow seductive mood of the first 1.45, with the long organ notes and the clipped notes on the ride cymbal and high hat giving that soft percussion. Beautiful intro and classy vibe 🎶 🎸🎹 🥁
