I inherited two sets of two when my dad died; we put batteries in them, we have power, but we can't get service beyond our property; any tips? We do NOT have a box like you have there, nor cables or a place to insert cables.

Seems like some versions were battery only like yours. Not sure what you can do other than make sure you have good batteries.

@@interested_in_things pre-drilled AND lined up?...a Lido Guitar Fetish body and a Squire neck?? My experience has been that even the Guitar Fetish necks and bodies AND bridges...they say they fit like a 63 Strat, but...the pick guards are too big and need modification, the necks and bodies are NOT a perfect fit, either the hardtail or the tremolo systems...you get what you pay for. You're better off buying an Indonesian copy and modifying it...better starting off platform. I feel like I got ripped off by Guitar Fetish, and the whole deal about having NONE of the GPX hardtail bodies in stock - and no clue when they'll be back in stock??? Give me a break. That's the last dime they'll get from me.

How do you like this bass? I've heard since people say the pick ups can be weak and there's a lot of hum.

This one leaves me with some questions. Usually the bridge placement to set the scale length is measured from the nut or the 12th fret. Here it looks like you're measuring from some point in the pickup cavity? Did I see that wrong?
@interested_in_things5 ай бұрын
The body came pre-drilled with the string through holes. So I had to be careful to line them up with the holes in the bridge and get it straight and centred.

I don't like the "FREE LESSONS" sticker they are putting on the pickguard. That's great information if you're ten years old but for seasoned players it looks student grade. I bought a MIM Strat in 1999 and tried to scrape off the sticker and ended up doing a "proto-relic" job because the scratches are still there from me trying to scrape the sticker off :)
