Great video you guys. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S
@yuka.m9 күн бұрын
Hi Steve Thank you for watching my video and your kind comment! I apologize for missing the ramps/stairs in my video, but after rechecking my footage, the resort seems very accessible. I imagine a flat path from the car to the front desk, a ramp to the elevator, and elevator access to restaurants, spa, pool, and beach. For Roy's or the golf course restaurant, a golf cart is available via the bell desk. However, I highly recommend contacting the hotel directly to confirm accessibility details, as things may change. Thanks again, and have a wonderful, safe trip!

Is the train station too hard to walk to? Thanks for the video! It’s great to see how the shuttle bus works.
@yuka.m5 ай бұрын
It's not hard. Getting to the station really depends on the weather. There's a safe and nice path that you can walk in about 15 minutes. But on those hot and humid days, I usually took the shuttle bus since it's more comfortable. So, depending on the weather, you might want to go with the shuttle, too. Overall, though, walking around there isn't difficult at all. Thanks for watching my video! It's nice of you to say so. 😊😊😊

Hi! Thanks for the content! I am planning to stay at Kruger Gate hotel on November for my honeymoon! Can you please explain how the safari tours work?
@yuka.m6 ай бұрын
Congratulations!! You will have fun. There are 3 types of safari tours you can choose. 1. Self drive We did self drive safari, basically. We rent a car at Skukuza Airport (You should book in advance) and drive to the hotel. If you arrive at the airport directly like me, you need to pay a park fee or show the wildcard if you have one on arrival. It's important to note that Kruger Gate Hotel isn't located inside Kruger National Park, so you need to buy an entrance ticket or show your wildcard with ID every time you enter Kruger. When we were there, we needed to park a car and go into the office to get real entrance tickets even though we had wildcards. It was a little inconvenient, and I hope Kruger Park made a digital entrance system so that you don't have to get out of the car. 2. Book a safari tour at the hotel You may receive an email regarding the safari tours they offer. Book with them. You can just show up at the hotel lobby area on time. Usually, you will have other passengers in the same vehicle. It's like a group safari tour. We did it a few times as it's convenient, and they offer a night safari. Self drive is prohibited at night, so it's a good option. 3. 3rd party safari You hire someone or a company to offer safaris at Kruger. They can pick you up at the hotel. I hope I have answered your question. Let me know if you have another question. (It was almost 2 years ago, so my answer might be out of date, though.)
@andrade2596 ай бұрын
@@yuka.m thanks a lot for the response and the wishes! :) We are only staying for 3 nights (two full days when we will make the tours). Do you believe it is enough to see everything at the safaris?
@yuka.m6 ай бұрын
If you take a tour, I believe you would see major animals more than we, self-drive tourists without any idea where to go, do. Tour guides usually communicate with other guides about where they spot specific animals, or experienced guides know the territories of major animals, so you can count on guides/drivers. At least I know they will say it's not guaranteed to see the animals..., but there are lots of animals in Kruger. I wish I lived nearby...😭 Enjoy!!😆😆

I stayed here in march 2024 and the hotel is very nice. Great staff and a nice hotel. My only qualm with the hotel is you forget you're in Venice and feel like you're in America. Marriott is clean with their branding but I think offering some authenticity of your surroundings would go a long way.

Hi, thank you for watching my video. 😊😊 Landacape photos and electric storms photos sound great! I wish I had such a skill. The website says: Canon Photo Studio State of the art Canon photography equipment including the mirrorless EOS R6 Mark II and EOS R3, and lenses RF 100-500mm and RF 24-70mm allowing you to experience and create your own visual masterpiece. We didn't get the tripods or anything else. Maybe it's because they knew we were beginners for photography?! I recommend you inquire them directly.
