Very cool packaging, this is 2024 and I'm planning to pick this set up. It looks like the packaging has definitely changed for today's issue, but hope it has some nice touches to it. The packaging of this is awesome ! They did a very nice job.

This box contains a whole album of bonus tracks for The Beatles In Mono box set fans - 16 original US mono mixes transferred from the first generation UK master tapes. Many complained in 2009 that these mixes were not included in The Beatles In Mono. And now they are, but mono lovers are silent and unhappy.

I don't get it. Are these music CD's?

They missed the Concert For Bangladesh and The Best of George Harrison.

Not a box set you really need. It says american albums, but most mixes are u.k. mixes and not the capitol ones. Listen to roll over beethoven from a real capitol album and compare it to this mix. Ten you will now what I mean.

I have this, but it's been superseded by the 60-CD set(which I also have). It does have the Jailhouse Rock & Viva Las Vegas soundtracks, which are MIA in the big box.

This was very helpful. So, it's 72 disks + the bonus disk. 73 total. I'm not sure the 2017 complete series set has the bonus disk. This 2013 set is unnecessarily large and bulky. No one wants to open a "treasure chest" every time they want to access a disk.

Sorry folks, these are not true soundtracks as heard in the actual films. But simply a collection of redone songs.

That looks like a nice boxset. But not complete though...it's funny that they putted that CD with the three extended plays in it (Follow That Dream, Flaming Star and Kid Galahad) but ignored the last soundtracks (Stay Away Joe, The Trouble With Girls, Charro, Live a Little Love A Little and Change of Habit). I bough the Complete Album Collection last year and that one contains all the soundtracks as well....and all the missing songs are either included as bonus tracks or on the 'from the vault' CD's that are added as extra's. The songs appear as they where released during his lifetime....by the way, the Complete Album Collection do contain the replica's of the photo's that came with the originals back in the day. Very nice......

Thank you. After watching this the first time I went out and bought it. It's fantastic. For me, some of the songs don't work on compilations. They sound better in the context of the soundtrack. My favourite is Fun in Acapulco but there is no weak soundtrack. Can't wait till they release a collection of the missing soundtracks... about 30 or 40 songs...?

Great vid! i wish i could affrd something like that. the first time i ever had that album was on 8-track, it was my fav 8-track! i guess i'm showing my age, huh? hehe. then a relitive had a the record vinyl set and i was mesmorized by the artwork. this was something i thought only the Beatles could come up with.

i always felt like they shouldve included "The Concert For Bangla Desh", since they included "Live in Japan" in "The Dark Horse Years" box set.
