Something I've heard at two fellowships (which don't deal with substance use) is their program is the "PhD" of recovery. Yet at the same time, many of us have probably also heard people say "the credits don't transfer" but if they think their program is so advanced maybe they feel that doesn't apply to them. Andy talked about dreams, it seems to me this kind of talking the program up by implicitly comparing with other programs as better is a kind of imaginary thinking. By the way, one of these programs still have not come back from just having Zoom meetings around here. I heard one meeting voted to do so but apparently when all these other fellowships have managed to find a room to meet again in the whole San Francisco bay area they can't make it happen.
