Whenever I hear the Powerhouse song, I can’t help but think of the Cartoon Network bumpers of the late 90’s-early 2000’s.

Is The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie traditionally hand drawn?

Music sounds like Michael Giaccino with the incredibles soundtrack. And sequences reminds me to Modern times by Charles Chaplin

The music kind of reminds me of what you would hear when going to a Broadway show, and I think the way they wrote it for the cartoon is pretty cool.

@GaryViews16 күн бұрын
I have seen the movie and there aren't supposed to be jokes in this scene.
@Grim52816 күн бұрын
@ well yeah I see that, just wondering why they’d go that long without a joke. Maybe a joke was being set up or something? (Don’t tell me). How was the movie? Please no spoilers if possible.

As much as I love Eric Bauzas other looney tune voices, ESPECIALLY daffy he’s right up there with Joe Alaskey and Jeff Bergman of best daffys, his porky is pretty rough. Needs more stuttering. Don’t know why Bob Bergen wasn’t used.

Appreciate your note. Well, another actor wanted the part. I have nothing to really complain about as I've spent many years voicing the pig in a lot of stuff. This film looks terrific, so my only regret is I didn't get to work on it. But I got nothing but gratitude for all the fun WB stuff I've had the please to have worked on.

This scene is a tribute to Charlie Chaplin's "Modern Times" scene where he gets caught up in the mechanical works.
@ink19318 күн бұрын
actually it's a homage to Baby Bottleneck, a Porky and Daffy cartoon from the 40s directed by Bob Clampett. Porky and Daffy's hats as well as the usage of Powerhouse is taken directly from it
