I feel like you skipped a step after setting the closed position, aren’t you supposed to select submit and then do the open position?

That’s pretty cool! I work in a factory with a LOT of motorized pallet jack traffic crossing paths with people almost constantly, and things can _definitely_ get dangerous sometimes. All we have at the worst intersections are big mirrors, but those only cover two of the four directions. If the pallet jacks didn’t have loud horns, there’d be multiple collisions every day. I think we could definitely use these, and I might just pitch the idea to management one of these days! Update: just made the pitch; hoping for the best!

I've been pulling a 53' reefer for over 25 years. Almost everywhere I go, requires the tandems slid to the rear. I have never heard of the tip, the front end going to the ground. But, it is impossible when there is a truck hooked to it or a jack stand under the nose. Lastly, most can be prevented by forklift operators acting responsibly. The video is a commercial for dock lock. And not well prepared.

Trailers should NEVER be dropped to be unloaded/loaded. It’s safer under the truck. Just more rules being made by faggots that have no idea what they’re talking about. Unhook the airlines on both tractor and trailer and take keys if you’re still scared the driver might still try to pull away. Fucking policy wonks and they’re dumb, made up safety bullshit. Trying to stay relevant I guess to keep their job position alive.

Dok Locks can be lowered manually in an emergency/loss of power. The engineering of the hook keeps the truck locked up- not power.

No. Certain companies have specific site rules about wearing them but those rules have been put in place by people who no nothing about working at height and have never been on a scissor lift!

I'm having difficulty getting the hook to lower when both the inside lights are flashing red and green and outside is red. Model GRH‑700 Dok-Lok. I pressed the horn override button and unlock ( I can hear the hook motor) but hook won't come down.
