Watched this in slow motion. Seems like he uses his elbows for navigation for Bully Ball and Up and Under. During his 1 or 2 dribbles he's feeling where he can get his elbow on the paint side. He executes his final elbow moves typically after he securely picks up the ball with 2 hands and elbows flared out, similar to grabbing a board. Strong preference for going paint side rather than baseline. Bully Ball 1) If he can get his elbow on the side of opponents torso, then he will use his elbow to seal and go to that side. 2) If his elbow is close to side but doesn't seal the opponents side, then he'll use his elbow to hit the defender in the ribs as he turns his body lol, then go to that side 3) If the opponent is smaller, he'll just use his body and slightly use elbow/hands to manipulate defender, then go up after disorienting defender. 4) If his elbow is no where near sealing, then he'll use body to push opponent back, then go to the other side. When he rises, his elbows are always near opponents face. It's like dirk's 1-legged fadeaway to keep space between defender, but melo's elbow is saying if you want the block then you taking an elbow to the face. Up and Under 1) Uses elbow to seal opponent, then throws a pump. Opponent bites, then he goes under. 2) If opponent is smaller, he doesn't need to seal since he can just shoot over them. He'll pump then go under. 3) If he can't seal on bigger/same size defender or double is coming paint side, he'll turn-around-pump baseline with options. Option 1) Elbows to seal opponents arms/shoulder while going up. Option 2) If opponent doesn't jump, then he'll use his shoulder to push off simultaneously with stepping through. Option 3) If opponent has their arm horizontal in front of melo, he will use elbows to get under opponent's shoulder then rise up. // For the Turn Around Fadeaway/Jumper, seems to happen if he's too far to the basket or if other defenders are also helping and anticipating Melo going into the paint. Multiple dribbles may be happening where he is reading the floor. He incorporates shoulder fakes, shimmys, high release, eyes on basket early, etc. Turn Around Fadeaway 1) He can shoot with his feet perpendicular to the basket whether it is toward the paint or baseline. This happens when he's closer to the basket. Goes hand-in-hand with his up and under since he can now pump from awkward positions and the defender needs to jump if he pumps from a safe position. 2) He may also pump from the perpendicular position, if opponent goes flying, he will square up his feet then shoot. 3) If defender is not bodying him up, he'll just turn-around J with his feet in normal shooting position (which is still slightly staggered like his J). 4) Bump opponent in the chest with his shoulder, then turn around fade with his feet in normal shooting position. 5) If defender is not completely bodying him up, but still very close, he'll use his off-hand to push the opponents hip or shoulder (legal?), or turn around with perpendicular feet. // For the Step Back Fadeaway, similar to Dirk's 1 legged fadeaway from the post. Doesn't involve turn arounds. More of a "in your face, little guy" move. Quick execution. Step Back Fadeaway 1) Lead foot in between and in front of defenders feet while backing down. Shoulder bump, perpendicular feet, step-back fade. 2) Off the triple threat. Lead jab, 1 lead dribble while back foot steps between defenders legs, step-back fade. May include shoulder bump on the dribble. 3) Off the triple threat. Lead jab, 1 rear dribble while jab foot steps between defenders legs, step-back fade. Will finish later. 5:55

Jokic in the span of a few years has gone from a good playmaker to an all time elite playmaker. His passing highlight reel is up there with Magic, Bird, Jordan and Lebron.
