He was strikingly handsome in his younger days. I think you're right. He just aged out of the more prominent roles by the time talkies came around. He had a decent career, though. Too bad about his loss in the crash of '29. 🥲 Thanks, Charlie! 😊❤

If you've never seen a silent film............you've got to see one. A whole different genre' of theater in itself. They had to say everything with their body language, facial expressions, and emotional movements. Wickedly awesome.

Aww, what a bittersweet story. I know many of them are, but hers was especially so, since she lost her footing in the talkies era, lost her husband, and then died so relatively young! 😢 I'm glad she got to work with Fairbanks and did that comedy later, though.
