Could a broken antenna cause the display on my radio not to come on when i start my truck? It happened a couple weeks ago and just the other day i noticed my antenna was broken and barely even hanging on... just wondering.

Hello friend, I have a Renault Fluence, it has an ABS module with ESP, and the light on the dashboard has been turning on and off for a few days. When reading with a scanner, it shows DTC c0002, valve channel control 2. Can this be solved by cleaning or is it a defect in the electronic board? I would appreciate if you could give me an answer, I am speaking from Brazil. Greetings.

While replacing tires on my Odyssey, they had a $7 charge per tire for servicing the TPM sensor. I suspect it was a pure ripoff.

Just another junk fee....excuse me they call it an added value service nowadays. But we know the truth.

Stubby premium black oxide drill bits are the best . Nothing else is even in the same league
@FixCarYourself21 сағат бұрын
Really what about cobalt?
@jim-j7l21 сағат бұрын
@FixCarYourself there ok . Just saying. They are colbert coated . And they glase getting hot . Then they are dawl . Unless they are a stubby . Cause the auger is stretched out a bit . Long bits are more for high speed . But in a drill press or laathe. Only seen stubby in black oxide. Tried them all . For over 30 years in the trade . We drill alot of stainless steel and the stubby black oxide drill bit to me are the best

You are a life saver man. Over two days i couldnt get the bolt to catch the threads. I thought it was the aftermarket connector. So I went to the dealer to pick an OEM one just to run into the same issue. Your trick with taking off the little release cap off the connector did the trick for me. By the way I watched every video on this and no one mentioned this. So thank you sir!

Where was the "testing" part of the video?
@FixCarYourself11 күн бұрын
Shacking it is technically testing it. I guess I could have blown in it as well or put a multimeter on it.
@ronkirk509912 күн бұрын
It wouldn't be too much of a redesign by the manufacturers to make the battery easily replaceable, but I guess they want to sell a complete replacement set of TPMS every 10 years or so when the batteries give out. Another case of built-in obsolescence.
@FixCarYourself11 күн бұрын
Yep. They know what to do, blame it on the battery which is the similar upgrade strategy phones used. The manufacturers always want turnover, and your money!

very helpful video! thanks! I broke the antenna but I would like to use the original one just to replace the broken screw. I am waiting for the shipment with the extractor and I wonder if it is possible to unscrew the broken screw from the antenna blade in the same way as from the antenna base. Does anyone know? thank you and best regards
@FixCarYourself11 күн бұрын
Not sure if answering this correctly. But the antenna base might be secured from the inside, which means you would need to gain access from under the headliner.

Thanks for this video. My Challenger, the sunglasses holder quit working apparently this is common issue.
