Hi Barb! Great idea, for sure. Love that each focus is for a month. Agree re: see it and use it. Though my see it and use it is cojoined to a brain that is if its too visually stimulating - my brain shuts down. So contained but accessible and visible to know that a container has X in it.... As you brainstormed your ideas for the challenge - love the idea of including more re: set up of space, etc. It made me also think of Lauren from Craft some Joy. There are lots of folks who have their tips and ideas to share. I would love folks share their process to how they 'designed' their craft spaces - if they did;) A year on a boat - Wow! Good thing Tiffany is a master at organizing!! kt

Hi Barb I really like your hair. I went to my HL Friday and it was bad I couldn’t even find any paper almost nothing on clearance but I did get some cool beads I’ll be filming my haul soon

If they had any of the items I shared but not on clearance, your store may not have the list yet. They don’t send it to all stores at the same time. I have two stores near me and they often don’t do the markdowns at the same time. Thanks for the compliment on my hair. At first I wasn’t sure but I am getting used to it.

That’s my old space. My current one is super tiny, I can’t even craft there Hubby has health issues and I am not comfortable spending that much time on the other side of the house. I am hoping to build a space next the garage for crafting with an area for hubby to watch tv, read or do other activities so I am close by. I also want space to include him in some crafts. If I can build it I plan to do videos throughout the build and set up. We are waiting a bid and the closing on our old house. We live with our daughters now.

Not sure how much and it all depends on if my daughter can buy a house big enough for all of us and a space to craft. If she can’t, I may have to sacrifice it at least for quite some time. If she can’t, I will need to make changes here so the space works with both of our health issues. Two floors won’t work much longer.

I need to start using my stamps and dies but it might be awhile. Right now finding it hard to craft with everything on my plate. We may be moving soon. Hoping if we do things settle down and I can get back to crafting. I tend to go to my cricut when I make cards part of that is I am not crazy about my coloring skills. lol.

Hi Barb. I’m sorry you have to make such a big move. Will there be an upstairs room you can use for storage? Even if you are not able to out your whole studio in the room? Or have that be where you work on your seasonal decor since you enjoy that? Or pull out just what you want to work on? I am sure you are thinking about options. I have a good bit of stuff stored in a room upstairs, and I’ll grab some supplies for one project and bring them (in a box or bag) to a table on the main floor to work on whatever it is. It’s limiting but it’s a way to get some crafting in without having a craft studio set up. I hope you find a solution that works for you.

I am hoping that if/when I do that I can set up the supplies in a way they will be accessible so I can pull out what I need if I have time. I am still debating mainly because it will be a lot of work to make the move and my fatigue levels are already so high. Another issue is the studio will be on a different floor if i have any hope of using it, it would be better left where it is. I am also waiting on some information from my daughter but I was feeling better before I started wondering if I should I hold off on the change. I need to call a few doctors this week about getting in sooner

I finally went to a Dollar tree plus but it was picked over. They have about 5 in that town so that’s probably why. I did look in the website to see the tiered tray and the green Christmas is very nice! I liked the snowflake second best. The tree was a little different. Thanks for sharing.

I will be using the Green Christmas Tree Tiered Tray at Christmas. I am saving the white snowflake tray for January. I always put out my snowmen/snowflakes in January. Though I don't usually make it through the entire month, I get tired of looking at anything snow related and switch to Valentine's. I really should NOT live in Northern Illinois. LOL

@@BarbsCraftStudio I sometimes do winter. With trees and snowmen and pinecones. Other times I do blues and greens with the our nest pillow I have so it is wintery but not really. And then Valentines of course.

I cut them down and wrap my ribbon on them. I have also used them for messy projects to protect my desk. Also have used them as dividers in my scraprack.

I did finally buy a real set as well. I got a good deal on Amazon. But I love Happiness is Homemade 4's way to make them little hats. The hats often cost more than the cups.

I wish I had seen this before I purchased 15 of the storage cases. I received my order today and have put 2 together and it has been such a pain! I really hope the storage cases help organize my wooden stamps to make the pain of putting them together worth it!
