I’m crying. I suffer from severe ocd and I can relate to this so much. Especially about the money and partner part. I couldn’t continue watching the video as it made me too emotional and I’m already going through treatment which isn’t working. Wish me luck.

I either have Craniocervical Instability or MSA, still yet to be determined. The fatigue that I am experiencing is immense, especially in the first 6 to 8 hours of the day. I can barely shower without having to lay in bed in agonizing fatigue for hours, much less walk 4 to 7 miles a day. I am 2 and a half years in, I still have good motor control when I’m not fatigued, but I am 37 years old and this started when I was 35. This is debilitating but whatever it is, I pray it’s not MSA.

I have craniocervical instability too and a history of parkinsonism. I was exposed to mold and injured from a fall trauma which caused ligament problems. Not to mention all the medications I was on. I have multiple symptoms coming from my brainstem. Might have to get evaluated for MSA or parkinsonism too though because I had things occurring that didn't seem to be related to the instability either.

What if ... the clinical trial took those who are not currently on a medication... because that have ran out of options and nothing worked, not just those CURRENTLY taking a medication. What if ... safer substances with the same mechanism of action were also being studied. What if ... those with obsessive symptoms that are an artifact of a personality "disorder" had a medicine that worked for them ... Lol ...

That's how USA medical system is fu..ed up. You have to wait months to a year to see a doctor, which is freaking hillarious. In my country, you can see the doctor any time you want and it's cheap of course.

I have never ever sit there and thought to myself what is this happens what if that happens what if this happens no see I'm actually mentally unstable which means I got a voice in my head that screams at the top of his lungs begging me to do something and then there's 20 more behind that and it's just like a f****** mob of people arguing constantly constantly about every other subject in every other thing so what if you all stop at 10:00 like you're the slight anxiety is actually a problem f****** grow up

If you read about Daniel Amen and you should, He is right about the tryptophan supplement called 5HTP. It helps to "lubricate the anterior cingulate gyrus" Which is the part of the brain that is stuck and malfunctioning in OCD. That's not the cure all though, there are a lot of other factors. I use EFT meridian tapping as well. Look it up and study it.

My wife was diagnosed with MSA 3 years ago. In all honesty, she is the most caring and loving person I have ever met. This disease destroys all aspects of what it means to live a normal life. For family members, the world turns on a dime and what we expect to last forever evaporates in a matter of months. To all of those with MSA, be tenacious and live each day to the absolute fullest. Try to capture all of the joy you can out of each moment you have. Listen to the singing birds outside, look at the beautiful plants and see yourself smile as you watch little children play their games. And remember, a cure maybe only a day away so while you are squeezing every ounce of enjoyment out of daily life and living moment to moment as best as you can, you can be healed within your MSA, from any suffering by the God who loves you more than is humanly possible to understand.

@Biohaven Do you have to previously been officially diagnosed with OCD in order to qualify for your trials? I have an appointment to be evaluated for OCD but it’s not for several more months.
@justanotherweirdo116 ай бұрын
If you go to their website to see your eligibility you'll find the question. "Do you think you may have OCD or symptoms of OCD?" So I would say n you probably don't need an official diagnosis. If you were apart of the clinical trial they might just evaluate you themselves.

The theories underlying mental health help is based on un-American activities. The virginal poor are often targeted as "in need of psychiatric aide." I never wanted sex. That is my right. India-based theory would disagree in my initial psychiatric evaluation. I was nearly "transformed" by Indian theory and my individual rights banished from my thoughts.

Unless it's tied to something catastrophic happening if you don't do it, it wouldn't be OCD and these days it has to take up a large part of your waking life to qualify for diagnosis. I personally have what is, at this point, subclinical OCD, but it really wasn't until I just accepted that whatever I was worried about could happen and that each time I took actions based on those things possibly happening, it was a vote for more intrusive thoughts. Over the years, things have gotten better. Now, I mostly have the autistic desire for repetition and consistency, which is a repetition because it feels good rather than a repetition because if I don't some horrible thing is going to happen.

We had a woman with OCD in our office. She'd constantly look in the mirror in worry. I told her one time : " _Dont worry Patricia! So what one of your eyes is higher on your face than the other!_ " (They werent) She lasted about two weeks before she just stopped showing up. Bright side, I got her desk by the window. Not like she used it, so fixated on that mirror...
