@@it.sracing4718 Yeah I spoke to that driver he sad that you overtake him by giving no space while having the better kart. And that this was not necessary… was angry about it. So this was the payback if I remember correctly. But DRS is always like this. Every video I watch I see things like this. I emailed the organization about it and they say it’s because they’re still a starting organization but that BS as it’s still this way🤣

I said it also to the organization and i hope, that this wouldn't happen next year anymore and they give some penaltys to drivers to get better races. Is it possible to use your video for a video review of the DRY Season?

Nice aggressive moves 💪 12KG is roughly 0.33s of time lost per lap so you did well to hold on. You can break the tramlines as soon as you cross the start/finish line 👍

I can imagine that you could save a lot of money on power units when using electric power instead of engines but the tire wear must be pretty bad because if all the torque, right?

@@privatesgooglekonto7638 Your spot on! It’s a lot cheaper because the wear and tear on the power unit is much lower in relation to a combustion engine. Tires is a difficult one cause mainly you brake in a straight line to optimize the the potential to decelerate with the front brakes while in a Rotax or Iame you use trailbrake and slip angle a lot more what increases tyre degradation. With this electric kart the rear tyres suffer more but the front tyres are just running easy. It’s just different that’s it I think😊

@@theumes4553 Wel wat zwaarder dan andere senior klasse. Voor zover ik weet 195 kilo met rijder. Afhankelijk van hoe zwaar de rijder is. Vergelijkbaar met ProKart. Vooral merkbaar bij langzaam en snellere bochten.

@@covadisracing Klopt was alleen helemaal kapot van de dag ervoor. Dus daarom stint 2 afgebroken maar denk dat ik serieus in de buurt kan komen van die Rotax/X30 Seniors. Serieus interessant spul.

@@0x62ash Good question! This organisation is affiliated with SWS but has some newer karts and some older ones. It’s al about getting a good draw but i did not as out of the 4 races I got 3 times a old kart…

That's what normally happens when the drivers get used to what they are doing. They'll never be good race drivers, and the carts are quite slow. Just a bit of fun on a day out with friends. Remember if you can take a corner correctly once of twice in a race, a good driver will get it right every lap🙂

Reason i was not as consistent as I wanted to be was due to the difference in karts I drive. I do multiple competitions and it’s difficult as each class and kart are different!

It’s a lot but doesn’t have to be a problem. I race ProKart in the Netherlands and on smaller tracks with 55 karts on the grid. All about having respect in my opinion. And the organisation has to make money almost forgot😂

Your patience with those dirty drivers was a lot, if it was me, id just straight up do a Micheal Schumacher and David Coulthard on them💀, both on track and after the session💀💀. This is quite literally the perfect example of the average F1 online lobby, except with Sodi Karts and its real life. Clean drive from you, and that thumbs up on the last race was pretty dang funny😭😭

@@mathijsmerksracing True that, you'll not gain much by going down to their level of driving and crashing them out, theres no benefit in hurting others in this context, but talking to them, gotta show some emotions not too much but just enough emotions to send the message that "hey, you could have hurt me or sent me to the hospital", so that they could understand that their driving is dirty and do something to rectify it, though speaking peacefully would definitely be the preferred and best outcome. Anyways stay safe out there, this sport is definitely cruel but that's just life in a nutshell

I was racing that day in your class, i was driving at the front with the a*holes who can’t stand it that someone who’s not in their group is faster then them so i was bumped off maybe 5 times that day ruining my day. Good reason to quit with the drs… so so so many toxic drivers no thanks

Did a late season race so got the new guy treatment ! The new group of rental racers had their confidence up . If you gonna pick on someone don't do it to a guy who has done double duty as a track marshal for 13 of my 16 years in karting !!!! Injury and stupid weekend job ruined regular karting but on a 5 race podium streak ! Have races on Sunday and Monday and would be pushing luck for 7 in a row . 😁🏁🤣

@@mathijsmerksracing That is a good mentality to have with these rental league events. It is not fun to race these events with others by wrecking other drivers out there. These rental karts always vary in performance no matter what facility you go to. I have also experienced both sides driving fast and slow karts in my own karting videos.

A classic Vroegindeweij action at the beginning. These guys (both brothers) will ruin someone's race every time but they almost always get away with it. Shame but nothing you can do about it. Great video btw!!

Don’t know them well enough to have an opinion in that but it was not acceptable in any way! There were more that day and spoke to that driver after. Said that something happens before but it’s still not an excuse to make dangerous moves like that! And thanks man was a lot of editing!

Mate they’re so stupid. In zwolle I had a great switchback overtaking 2 people (in the final lap). Of course one of them was Lennard and he sent me into the wall the corner after that.

Bizar maar ga me niet verlagen tot dat niveau. Voor mij was die dag een extra om wat dingen te oefenen. Hoor steeds meer mensen negatief over DRS terwijl het concept zelf en prijs kwaliteit echt wel goed is. Alleen toxische gedrag en de lage penalty’s zijn een probleem samen met de verschillen per kart want daar zit goed 2-3 seconden tussen.

Nee man zit goed 2-3 seconden tussen net als bij de meeste outdoor huurkarts. Moet zeggen dat ik die dag puur wat aan het oefenen was en zelf niet sterk reed. Maar alleen op gevoel is het per kart al anders. Wisselt tussen handling, acceleratie, topsnelheid etc. Zat naar het formulier te kijken en 1 kart die ik bijvoorbeeld had kwam niet verder dan P40 of zo van de 50🥲

Ja hoor het van meer mensen. Had hun gemaild en zeiden dat het lag aan dat hun een nieuwe organisatie zijn die nog het een en ander moet verbeteren. Maar blijkbaar is klopt dat niet zo aangezien ik veel reacties krijg dat dit heel normaal is daar….

Geloof me ik had een video van op zijn minst 5 minuten kunnen maken. Heb de organisatie gemaild en hun waren op de hoogte alleen is het allemaal vrij nieuw voor hun omdat DRS nog niet lang bestaat. Daarbij een veld van 50 rijders en dit is het resultaat.

Probleem is dat veel rijders zichzelf en dit spelletje veel te serieus nemen. Is een potje huurkarten, waar gaat het over. Ga gewoon een beetje plezier maken en doe normaal.

@@covadisracing Opzich is er niks mis met het serieus nemen. Klopt het is huurkarten maar voor sommige is dit het hoogst haalbare mbt budget. Daarbij kan je tickets winnen voor SWS en dat willen hun allemaal. Alleen de manier waarop gaat nergens over want er zijn mensen bereidt andere de bandenstapel in te zetten om een positie te winnen. Rubbing is racing maar daar houdt het op voor mij. Ga geen andere rijders bewust raken of in gevaar brengen!

Leuk gedaan, maar dit heeft niets met karten te maken, zie dit bij elke race van DRS voorbij komen. Complete waanzin. Maar goed, DRS loopt lekker binnen met die grote startvelden, dus die zien het wel door de vingers
