He was given opportunities because of his family and name that others just never get. Not saying he was not a good race car driver. And I know not all who were given opportunities in the same fashion succeeded like he did.

this is info beyond my skillset. I took mine to a music store and they took it apart and cleaned up the inside as well as changed a wire. My skill is to clean up the outside and I was just removing the scratches from the polycarbonate cover.

The good thing tho is there ARE Ceramic coatings for matte finished paint, and Wraps! And actually it's even MORE important to ceramic coat your matte finished car when it's new because if you don't keep bird droppings, bugs or water spots off your matte paint....you can't correct etchings out matte/flat paint! You are repainting the car to fix it! So COAT IT with the right coatings! Send your flat/matte cars to us, we got you covered!

Agreed, I think I meant the reason no warranty program covers matte paint. I too have coated both matte vinyl as well as paint!!!

While that is true, you don't have to actively damage the paint. These dusters are just speeding up the accumulation of damage.

My Dad wanted ti give me one of those. I told him to throw it away and to never use one. He asked why and I told him it's terrible for your cars paint. Dry dragging debris across the paint is never a good idea.

I travel to Europe a lot for car racing. A few years ago myself and a group of European fans were sitting around at Spa Francorchamps. One posed the question...Who was the best driver in a three to five year window. I heard all types of answers....They asked me....I replied without hesitation Al Jr. For a short time he was on the very short list of best in the world bar none.

I feel pretty lucky to have interviewed Al Jr!!! We are heading to Indy next month to do several more Indy 500 interviews! On tap Jim McGee, Crew members from Helios team 2019, The car builders at Skillman Museum, Ray Skillman, a tour guide for Indy 500!!!! So much great content for this trip. If you have not yet done so, check out the Paul Page interview. It is among my favorites to date. He even took me for a ride in his Ferrari!!!

I will br traveling to indy in march to do several Indy 500 people interviews in person. My goal, to make them take me for a ride for part of the interview!!!
