I had all my desktop tables working.then they started running slow , now they are all messed up because I had to reset my pc now I find out you have to install c++ or something I don't know which files to download could you tell me ? This of course I find out after I installed vpx, now I have to uninstall everything and start over ?

Hj Rudy, I have an old version Popper 1.4.6 manual (no baller) on Windows 10. This video seems to me that the old installation needs to be by baller.... Is there any other video to guide me to this x64 update or do I need to install baller to proceed with this video? Any help I appreciate. Cheers.

everything is set up for the batch recording. but it never goes past the first table in the list. is there a command that need to be done to get it to move to the next table after the first completes?

@adamruss656 you run the popper autorecord.. set the list. Make.sure the games play and don't error

github says to put b2s in its own folder, why does pinupdater look in tables folder?

As with Visual Pinball, it is a good idea not to install the server on the system hard disk or at least in a separate folder away from the Program Files folder. (Admin Rights) C:\Visual Pinball\B2SServer\ could be a good place. Earlier it was common to install the B2S Server in the Tables directory, and it is perfectly ok to keep everything in the Tables folder, however, it is IMHO clearer and easier to update if the B2S Server runs in its own directory."

@chrispeters8785 yes it can run in any folder but to have a set pinball structure like the baller installer for the auto updater feature to work the files must be in the location that it looks for them. Therfore to keep your pinball system and all of baller functions working properly it needs to stay in the tables folder.

@chrispeters8785 you asked why it looks in tables and I told you because that is the baller_installer folder structure everything must be in a certain location so it knows where to look and makes sure all the files are there and how to update them. If they are not in the correct location it can't find them. With all the different programs and files needed it is best to have a constant normal folder structure.

Rudy great tutorial but you never told us what this software is and what it’s used for I think it’s to apply pov to original tables Better is you make a video about What is a .vpx, b2s, pup pack, ini , pov, config rom , config, batch, dmd (including ultra,flex,slim,full) , music, ect ect I look forward to that video

Just out of curiosity, is your glass flush with the monitor and, if not, how many inches approx. did you drop it in the back?

@@echodun I left only about 1 inch in the back just for airflow so it does not trap the heat on the glass

@@rudysarcade Thanks. Yeah, after watching Way of the Wrench put his monitor in and although I love you side-art work, I'm beginning to wonder if perhaps my tables look a bit off with the 4" drop angle in the back.

@echodun yea with 10.8 you can put the depth in the screen and not have to put the monitor down in the cabinet. Looks more realistic and gives the screen a better viewing angle.

Thanks for this very intuitive video. I finally jumped into the 10.8 and was so nervous to do this . But it worked, I had to do the last step adding the visual +c files for it to work . But it is updated .

My FlexDMD.log.config file entries had Error in the fields that you change to warn; <logger name="*" minlevel="Error" writeTo="console" /> was written in both so I just changed them to warn like in the video, is that ok or was there already a problem in my install?

The files in the Update download didn't always match those shown in the video and copied/behaved differently to what was shown.

@FraktalPriest just follow the video. I removed some files not needed. If you are new best to use the ballerinstaller to start fresh and it comes with an auto updater

@@rudysarcade @rudysarcade Thanks for the quick response 😋 Yeah I followed along dilligently, almost too dilligently; prob took me a bit longer than needed lol. You mean the ballerinstaller steps that in this video right? Sweet. I was mostly concerned by my install not matching the video but I thought you might have updated files so all good then. I've gotten to where that part is installed so I'll keep following the last half of the vid. Guess I got scared as I haven't gotten any of this to work in 20 years! Great vid! And I'll figure it out, no matter what!! 😋

merry christmas to you and your family. I just want to say. I have been following your how to videos for about a year now. they have been very informative. I watched and followed your pin2dmd video. I do have and issue with the installation. when I got to the part were I got the part when the program is supposed to change the driver file. when running the vpmane did not show. I rechecked everything and there was fine. my dmd does not run on any of the tables. please can you help with this. thank you

@beauc1399 you must follow to the letter. You need to use my dmddevice.ini I have don't it on 3 different machines now and works great. You must install the correct driver.

When i try to record the backglass for future pinball it immediately starts stuttering. Just the backglass though. Any ideas?

This DMD screen you showed, what is its model and where can I buy it? Is it connected via USB to the computer? I found it very interesting to put on my desktop, considering that I only have one monitor. Thank you for the great tips you always give us!

Is there an ini file that can turn individual pup packs on and off? I have an older Metallica pup pack, but I'm only getting ball launch, ball lost and ball saved triggers and someone said it could be turned off in one of the ini files, but I couldn't find anything and I have Pinup Player set to true in my DMDdevice.ini

Quick question. I got the patcher to work right but it doesnt change the pov to yours. I tried naming the pov to the same file name, like the instructions said, but no change. Is there a step I'm missing?
