For the SWC 3 hours late is basically on time. 🤣 I've ridden the Chief for every year 17 years. It is a great way to travel and I really love it but if punctuality is important, fly.

What a shame that SD70M was tagged up like that. You would think UP would get on that and repaint it but they are just scrapping by, I’m sure they don’t have the extra money to do that, the companies net worth is only 135 BILLION dollars 😂

Nice catch, was it taken on the day you uploaded it? (I know its a few years ago now) Equipment is from 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division from Fort Bliss, TX heading to Korea as 9th Rotational Brigade. Assumption of 9 month standard rotational deployment to Korea in support of US Army 2nd Infantry Division / Republic of Korea US Combined Division. No idea on how or why it was routed thru Topeka, they assumed command of the mission in Korea on July 12th.
