Sorry I didn't buy a bosh universal plus mixer I bought a cabelas carnivore 1hp meat grinder and jerky slicer attachment and it comes with a cool tech ice gel pack and comes with to grinding plates a 4.5 mm and a 10 mm plate

It looks like the whisks won’t last long before the plastic breaks. Every time you use the whisks. The plastic wears a little. You are getting micro pieces of plastic in your food. I personally won’t eat plastic of any kind. I don’t drink out of plastic water bottles because they also contain micro particles of plastic in the water. I’ll stick with metal and I have a reverse osmosis system for my hot or cold drinking water.

It would be extremely helpful if you would specify what type of yeast you are using, instant, rapid/regular. Seems this may be rapid.

You are 100% correct. There is nothing like a Bosch Universal Plus Mixer. I have been using a Bosch since 1980 and I love it. Plus the average mixing life of a Bosch mixer is between 18 to 25 years. And the attachments are great!

I don't understand the kneading aspect of the bosch. People say it kneads super well, but all of the videos I watch, at a certain point it's just spinning the dough in circles and not actually kneading it. Also, you don't need to let it rise the first time before putting it into the bread pan?

If you're using quick-rise yeast, you can put it right into the pans and let it rise once. That is enough with quick-rise yeast. I've been using the Bosch mixer for a about 25 years. Don't worry about what you see it doing in the video; it is working the dough just right.

Assembly is NOT intuitive. I can find nothing that shows how to attach bowl scrapers WITH mixing blades.

Requires a LOT of strength to add and remove scraper from blades on the shaft.
