Fantastic video. Thanks so much for taking the time to make it. For me I'm trying to replace the heater core which requires the removal of the whole glove box so this will help me a lot. Update: I just removed the glove box and there is no way I could have done it without this video - thanks again 😊

Hie Jamroz, wasn't it easier to use a picco scope to capture waveform before exchanging sensors maybe? Thank you in advance for your response🤝

i have picoscope i was working in the rain some of the times. setting up pico was not an easy option. i know what you mean but sometimes you have to do with what is handy at that moment. Thanks for your contribution.

My qstn is how you gonna find the problem if l got freeze frame data, does it mean you compare original specs vs actual specs when that vehicles is on idling.

I will explain more on the Zoom platform this afternoon. i short let me say freeze frame is used to mapping out a strategy to tackle the faul.

The oil dilution value is not measured in any way, just calculated by the ECU. This means that if someone does an oil change/service on the car and does not reset the oil dilution value then it will continue to rise according to the mileage. When the OD value reaches 9% the ECU will no longer do normal regen while driving and you will have to take the car to a garage to get it regenerated. So when you service any diesel subaru MAKE SURE TO ALWAYS RESET THE OIL DILUTION TO ZERO! Otherwise you will have constant DPF problems. Source: I'm a certified Subaru service technician at a Subaru shop and i regularly get cars into the shop where a third party shop has done a service but not reset oil dilution.
@jamrozelectronicssolutions72329 ай бұрын
Thank you very much for your contribution. The young man you see changing oil is Subaru technician. He did all the resets unfortunately that part of the recording got corrupted. We're happy to have you on our platform. we value your contribution. Thanks

@@jamrozelectronicssolutions7232 i didn't mean to make it sound like i was criticizing you guys. My comment was directed at people in general who service a Subaru. Licensed techs, third party techs or the owners themselves.

Unfortunately, Pin 4 signal wire has 0.00 volts. I have continuity between the sensor connector and the ECU harness. If I check the continuity to ground pins 2 and 3 have higher continuity (300 when set to 2000k) to ground than pin 4 (550 when set to 2000k). Does this mean the ECU is bad?
@jamrozelectronicssolutions72329 ай бұрын
it appears like your signal wire is shorted. disconnect it on both sides. connect your ohmmeter on one side of the wire and connect the other side to a ground. OL or 1 means not short to ground but if you get a reading you have a short
