Why would you open the head? Well, because you know there's a tumor. How do you know that? The patient was imaged with MRI. Oh. So you're not replacing MRI then, clearly.

For 12:26 - this is broadly speaking true but not quite. There are low-field MRI systems which can fulfill the role of iMRI far better than the imaged (and presumed) 1.5T superconductive MRI systems. We've done research on this in Finland for decades, as one datapoint.
