I would manage a little more and sell my losers quicker.. if your trade starts moving in the wrong direction sell and get a new plan... and please diverse a little more outside of Bitcoin.... there's a big market out there get in nvida is on a huge run

Yes, agreed, I hate taking losses but also acknowledge that I can't win all my trades. As for Bitcoin, it is a core belief for me, and when I get put something, I want it to be something that I believe will come back at some point. Thanks for the comments. Out of curiosity, at what point do you move on from losers?

Yes at this point I would agree, my thesis on the trade was that if I got put any RIOT/CLSK that it would only dip and I would be able to sell covered calls. But that has not happened.

after the pop on friday you can sell the RIOT 11 calls for 11/15 for 26 cents. thats a little better at around 20% roi

Yes, love the pop, want to see it maintain and continue up, hoping to sell when I can get closer to 50% annualized.

BITO pays a big dividend and it has weekly options. its my favorite for bitcoin

Thanks for the info, I'm going to have a look at it. I haven't really sold puts/calls on big dividend stuff, do you find that the options get exercised more due to the dividend?

How do you find the questrades options fees and data fees? The quoted fees are very high at $9.95 +$1 per contract is outrageously expensive. The paid trading fees at $4.95 + $.75 per contract is less but still seems expensive to me. I have a margin account with questrade but the fees keep me in straight equities and i never touch the margin. Btw great job on these videos & trading.

How would someone start learning this. Typically when I learn things I just copy someone then learn the nuances as I go but dont see that as an option here aaha

Personally, I found some good videos on KZbin and followed that up with some books. Learning options trading was not easy, and I am still learning. When I started trading, I limited my risk and made small trades. I learned a lot from my early losses.

Your goal is 10K / mo. SO what is your initial capital required to do so many calls/puts to get to 10K per month? Also, how many call/puts are you doing per week?

Roughly $350K working cap. For BTCC.B, I try to have roughly 25 contracts expiring weekly for sold premium (CSP and CC) but of course that goes up and down with the market. I also need to have some buy to open calls or puts that I can sell each month as the sold premium will not be enough to get me to $10K. I am still learning and hopefully over time, the annual will average out. September did not go well.

Looks like you're taking on quite a bit of risk across multiple trades for pretty small returns. But those XLE and MSTR calls are solid, nice work! You've got yourself a new subscriber.

It states on all their info and also has tracking of swimming and showering. Can be used to dive to a depth of 50 meters for short periods. Why can’t you shower with it???
