I think my big issue with the Minecraft movie is just how insincere it is. Literally ALL the dialogue shown in the trailer and clips is people doing funny quirky quips, "that sounded better in my head"-esque bullshit which is just not what Minecraft is. For Borderlands something like this works (or, uh, *would have* worked on paper if the movie was at all competent, which it obviously isn't) because that's the style of humour already associated with that franchise. But Minecraft just doesn't work well with that sort of quippy quirky snarky humour, because Minecraft is so sincere. You make a world or join a server and build a house. You go to the mine and fight the dragon, or you build a castle, or do whatever, but never do you think to yourself "wow, haha, I can't believe I'm playing this right now, it's so quirky".

If you think about it, Minecraft can be used as a medium to create a great movie, however, it requires creativity and imagination. You need to analyze and study the audience to make a movie out of something like Minecraft. An example of an aspect that you can use from the game is the crippling loneliness that all of us at some point felt playing the game.

this company pisses me off, they started off strong to give us a false sense of hope. I remember watching all the videos of the people who bought the first versions, and I ordered a custom model at that time. I waited for an entire YEAR to get it, and not only was the color wrong, but the entire mouse was made the same way shown in the video. I'd love to see you bonk the top of the mouse where the mice buttons connect, that's what happened to me. My mouse slipped off my desk and hit the CARPET, and busted on all 4 mouse points, aswell as the 3 points in the middle of the main frame. Since mine was a custom order, there was nothing I could do to get a replacement, I had it for all of 2 months and can't use it since both mouse 1 and 2 are no longer connected to the mouse. Currently working on a carbon fiber frame to house the internals of the beast x since I do like the sensors, buttons, and battery/dongle!

@@frappy0 what a weird comment 😝 For real though, I’m a very no bullshit kind of guy. I don’t like to sugarcoat stuff and I don’t care what that status quo is with a given mouse or product, I’m going to get a product, and review it based on my copy and my experience. I’ll never be good at making things sound a little bit more gentle for the soft eared folks, and I’ll never be good at hiding my opinion because of the 28 other reviews that disagreed with me. With that being said, I will agree that my response to comments on this video wasn’t the best. This was my first “negative” video since I came back to KZbin (even though I’m still happy with it) and I didn’t handle it the best. My new policy is that I will just most likely not respond. However, this video in particular really bothered me because it displayed such fanboyism and that’s one of my biggest pet peeves. I make a video criticizing Finalmouse and praising the Beast X, and people love it. I get lots of praise, views, likes, fake internet points, etc. I make a video criticizing Beast X for this god awful release and people immediately don’t like it and call me unreliable, biased, and even accuse me of being a Finalmouse paid shill. That’s the first time that’s ever happened to me on this channel, and I’m going to be totally honest, people like that can just eat shit and dislike and get tf off my channel. Fanboyism is disgusting and projecting their loyalty onto me to tarnish my word is also disgusting, and I take that very seriously. Despite all that, I’m still really happy with this video. But to be clear, this is not a “customer is always right” channel. I do this for fun and do not care about subscribers or views, I just put stuff out there and hope people enjoy it. If someone says something negative on the channel from here on out, I’m just going to ignore it. But it’s comments like these that really do make me hate this community. People who think they know everything there is to know about me or how this video was made or so on. If you are concerned for my “development as a human being”, which is super strange to say to someone you don’t know btw, then feel free to leave a dislike and move on.

@bhtv-1 2 ай бұрын
Im pretty sure I had my windows volume maxed out and I had the gain knob around 60%. I was running the mic through a USB 3.0 port, so the type of port will definitely depend on how much power you get to the mic. It is a dynamic microphone, so that means it will be a bit harder to get to optimal levels, but I had no problem with this one.

I don't think so, Logitech. They make good hardware, I've always liked the way their devices feel. But they can't build software to save their lives. The "Logi Options +" software is a disgusting pit of bugs. It's horrible. I won't consider Logitech in the future for ANY hardware purchase until AFTER I thoroughly research the software/drivers behind that hardware. If it isn't bloat-free and lightweight I won't buy it. I disagree, I play ow2 at a collegiate level and peripheral durability is often a concern especially when you're constantly forking out 160usd for new g pro x superlights. I think Logitech could create a successful product due to the plateau in high level sensor hardware and their ability to push onboard software updates (similar to wooting copying razers snap tap with a simple software update.) Granted if you are just using a $35 dollar mouse, your unlikely to be the demographic the product would be aimed at.
@bhtv-1
@bhtv-1 3 ай бұрын
@@tdlnz I could kind of conceive that notion in the gaming market, but they aren’t talking about the gaming market. They’re talking about productivity and daily use. However to steelman your point a bit, even with a $160 superlight, that wouldn't even be enough to get you the forever mouse. The forever mouse, with the information we have so far, is $200 plus whatever they charge for updates/subscriptions. With the subscription model, you dont save money. You will definitely end up spending more money in the long run. With the $160 superlight, you just buy the mouse and use it till it breaks or you dont want to, and thats it. You also forget to realize that the amount of people playing OW2 at a competitive level is already a low percentage of the population, let alone the percentage of them who also want to spend $200 on a mouse that will disallow you to update it if you don’t subscribe with real money for updates. I think I’m quite the unique consumer in the sense that I’ve bought over 30 mice within the last year, and could more than afford whatever the price would be for the forever mouse, so I don’t think I have some misunderstanding of what the mouse is aiming to achieve. I just think it’s a disgusting business practice, and a shitty implementation of an already niche product that hopefully never comes to fruition.
