A Reel posted in the feed has a higher chance of being seen by your followers, which can translate to more engagement. The initial engagement is one of the factors Instagram considers before pushing your Reel to more people. Thank you for your comment! I wouldn't recommend using the same set of hashtags over and over again... This can affect your reach because it is unlikely that they will be relevant to every single one of your posts. Additionally, by using the same hashtags, you're missing out on reaching a wider audience (NEW HASHTAG = NEW UNREACHED AUDIENCE). I'd suggest testing a couple new hashtags every time you post if your niche allows you to do so 🙂

Hi! If the image is super big, Instagram needs to compress it to the required size. It might the reason why the quality of the image becomes so poor. Did you try to resize it to 320 x 320 pixel before the upload? This should do the trick :)

One of the reasons why people may not see your content is using banned hashtags. They limit the visibility of your posts as they go against Instagram's Community Guidelines. You can use IQ Hashtags Banned Hashtags Checker to review your hashtags before posting and eliminate any hashtags flagged by the platform. Your niche may feel too saturated, but it doesn't need to be a bad thing. It's a sign that there's a need for your service/product! Getting engagement and reach can be tricky when the competition is high but it can be done!

The key to getting engagement from non-followers is the quality of your content (is it relevant to your target audience? Does it encourage people to take action?), right hashtags (related to your niche, target audience, and topic of the post) to attract people genuinely interested in your content), and fuelling interactions (meaningful comments on your target audience's posts, using Stories for daily engagements with your current followers, Interactive stickers in Stories, DMs, etc.). Just like I said in another comment - engagement generates engagement, so it's always a good idea to reach out to other people!

'Engagement generates engagement' - it may sound simple, but the more you interact with your target audience and other profiles in your niche, the better are your chances to get them to engage with your content. Hey Fabio! Thank you for your comment! You’re totally right. Some creators copy and paste their hashtags and still get fantastic engagement, but also a lot of them…don’t. Large accounts don’t need to rely on hashtags as much as brand new accounts to get their content discovered. The algorithm indexed their content as relevant and interesting to a specific audience and pushes it to people based on its overall popularity. A brand like Nike won’t need hashtags to reach its audience. It has an enormous following and recognisability. People will find it anyway. But if you’re a small business owner who’s just started on the platform and needs to build a community from scratch, hashtags and keywords are the primary ways to do it. Re-using the same set of hashtags carries some risks (getting flagged by Instagram, not reaching new audiences, making your content look spammy). Still, thoughtful re-use of a COUPLE of hashtags you’ve ranked high for in your past posts can be a great strategy to expand your reach! The most important thing to remember is that hashtags aren’t a magic bullet. They won’t fix poor content. And yes, luck is one of the most important factors in success. But isn’t that the case with everything in life? 😉 Some accounts may not have the most incredible aesthetic, but maybe it works for their niche, hence fantastic engagement. Perhaps they were just lucky, or… maybe all the engagement comes from bots. There can be so many individual reasons. This video is supposed to help everyone right at the start of their Instagram journey or anyone who doesn’t see any results from their current Instagram efforts. It’s a kind of universal law.
