Well at 10 miles a gallon 300 miles a day that's 30 gallons of diesel out here in California over $4 a gallon. Travel 15 days a month due to math. I think Mr trucker you are a bit off on your accounting

The area at the front of the boat is known as the Cratch. Most boats have a removable canvas cratch cover. The main thing about being on the canals is to take it easy and unwind. Enjoy.

Hi, I live in NYC, here's some advice on public transit if you decide to come back. The fares are now $2.90 a person, 15 cents more than what it was the last time. The children riding for free rule only applies to children under 44 inches, but its up to 3 children per one paying adult. You no longer need to buy any metro cards due to the new OMNY payless system, which allows for a free 7 day period of free rides after you pay for the first 12. The 7 day period will start the first day you pay, and will end when those 7 days are up. The OMNY system allows for every contactless way of paying (credit cards, debit cards, apple pay, google pay, Samsung pay, etc.), but you must use the same device or card for all 7 days, otherwise it'll start a new 7 day period, for that device, even if your mobile pay is linked to the same card you started with. For any transfers between the trains or buses, train to train transfers are unlimited and for free, however subways to buses and vice versa only have a 2 hour window before you have to pay again. Now, there are 2 types of buses, local and express, local buses makes more stops and takes more time to get to somewhere, but is cheaper. Express buses are $7, but does take less time and take less stops, that is all

Wow. Even with a wide-angle lens, it's so narrow, and tight. Do they make that in a double wide ?
@Diverball12 ай бұрын
Nearly. 6ft 10" is the standard for narrowboats, but you can get them up to 12ft wide. They are more restricted in where they can go though. If you want to explore the whole UK canal network, you're limited to 6ft 10" wide and 60ft long. It's the size of the locks that are the limiting factor. The absolute limit in length is 72ft.
