I wish I could go that long without washing my scalp! Workouts and sweating 🥵 Even on off days I can go up 2-3 days before my scalp is screaming at me to wash.

Imo, 4 and 5 should be used for everyone when trying to grow your hair but the other ones not so much. I'm a 41 year old female and my hair is naturally curly and the length goes down past my butt without having to pull a curl down. Imo what works for one person may not work for another but the things I've learned in over a decade while growing my hair out is to wash your hair once every other week, make sure to apply oil to the scalp all the way to the ends of your hair. Don't use blow dryers or curling irons. Brush your hair once a week, and take vitamin D supplements and iron pill supplements daily. I started doing all the above over a decade ago and now my hair is past my butt, before my hair wouldn't grow past my shoulders. Also before I go to sleep I put my hair in one long braid to prevent breakage and wrap it in a satin or silk scarf and use a satin or silk pillowcase which also helps with preventing breakage. You can tell if you have breakage when you brush out your hair, if the length in the back isn't even and you have shorter sections that's a major sign. But everyone's hair is different and a lot of people like brushing and washing their hair daily instead of once a week so teach their own.❤ Also imo, I don't think eating healthy has anything to do with it at all, plus getting your hair trimmed keeps your hair looking healthy and it does promote hair growth imo. It's damaged hair anyways so you won't miss it.❤

I am white/Caucasian, and my hair is curly like African American. My mother just doesn't know what to do and treats me unkind. When I get a cut, they always make my hair look round. I need help.

If your hair looks "dry & tangled" after a wash, idk what you would say to my hair when it's actually dry & tangled 😂. My hair is literally dry day 1 hair. Curls be poppin, sometimes, but refresh seems to always bring the frizz & my hair stays dry. I did do a recent wash n' go with Aussie using regular conditioner, Blue Magin Hemp hair grease, & Aussie hair mouse. My hair was moisterized for the week but I couldn't wear it down because I don't think it was fully dry when I went to sleep, so the curls in the front weren't hanging right, so I wore a curly ponytail the rest of the week

I love your content. Yes, I concur that people took the curly hair simple wash and go routines to some whole other level that's just to satisfy their greed for self promoting products and getting sponsorships. That's why we see so many of them pushing these curly hair business product lines. It's monetization for them. Let's go back to the basics and keep the routine like it's meant to be simple... it's wash and go but healthy hair at the same time. :) That's why we transitioned from having those horrible chemically processed dangerous perms to have a more easier and simple life with our natural hair routines.
