The end of round 2 its 1-1 are you fucking kidding me at least it should be 3-1 shit ill even do 2-1 back then everyone wanted Moreno to make the team for his 3rd time thats all almost 25 years later im still mad lol !!! in my eyes if Jason would of went to the Olympic that year i guaranteed he would of placed easily. Moreno lost his first fight against who Denmark
@GoldMedalSaginaw4 күн бұрын
Yep. Surprisingly, I talked with Jason about it. He was very grateful for the opportunity and was not angry with the outcome. He also said he did believe he was the better fighter and should have went but he made a choice to go all out, give it everything he had and if he lost he would move on with his life. Such a great individual too
@DavisChristopher-qx9kj4 күн бұрын
Mannnn thank you so much for uploading this fight I get goose bumps everytime I see them fight Moreno had to dig deep to figure Jason out but you still ask me Torres was a better fighter I had the chance of seeing Jason fight in 98 team trials an i never seen anybody move an do the shit he did not taking anything away from Moreno but Torres was on his own lane
@GoldMedalSaginaw4 күн бұрын
Oh yes. You said it. I got to see Jason fight at Nationals and wow so inspiring and dominate. I highly respect Moreno too but I agree. Torres was on another level.

So the rules in 1999 had 6 gyeong-go result in a DQ? Nowadays it's 5 gam-jeom and you lose the round (with score and penalties resetting every round) and it's not uncommon to see people with the lead evading engagement at the end of a round if they have a few to burn off. I wish WT would make passivity or lack of engagement worth a gam-jeom AND a gyeong-go in the last 20 seconds of a round to cut down on people who just run out of bounds. Do it twice and you've accrued 3 out of the max 5 penalty points.
@GoldMedalSaginawАй бұрын
Yes. The rules need a total overhaul. IMO they make changes that hurt the sport more than help it

Yes it definitely needs to come back and look like actual fighting. This lead leg kicking is boring, it's like fencing there's nothing exciting about it.. Yes there is alot of standing around and checking, but with the new rules implemented with the "trembling shock" style of fighting, it would be more exciting to watch.

It's really simple: stay away from blacks. They are allowed to beat you and you aren't allowed to defend yourself.
@adamblackman66606 ай бұрын
Initially I thought it was purely self defense; however, I now believe it was manslaughter. Even if he acted in self defense, he acted with intense violence. It was that he stabbed the one dude and brought the blade up through his sternum, gutting him…. That changed my mind to believe his instincts were to inflict harm. He probably saw red and went into murder mode…. Then proceeded to lie to everyone after walking away.

If people are attacking you ending the threat is the only way to be safe! Im not saying he was right or wrong but to say because he stopped the threat with extreme violence does not mean he wasn't defending himself. There are tons of videos of people being shot multiple times and still being a threat. That is why in self defense you stop the threat completely.
